I have two sisters and one brother. My father died when I was two years old. I entered Mianning Middle School to attend high school, and my sisters vowed to "dish" me out. I am also very energetic. At that time, I was exposed to many literary classics at school, but I liked music so much that I ran to the counter of the supply and marketing cooperative every day and stared at the harmonica that fascinated me. If you can't afford it, just stare. I slowly deducted from my meager food expenses, and finally got enough money from 3 yuan to buy a harmonica. I played the harmonica very well, and then the university became my stage. Gradually, I felt something was wrong ... because learning music was too expensive. At that time, I thought that a piece of paper and a pen could create literature, so I loved literature. 1982 After I was admitted to Southwest University for Nationalities in September, the library became my literary "Dojo". 1984, Liangshan Literature and Art published my first Yi poetry teacher. By 1994, I had published more than 300 Yi poetry. At this stage, writers such as Wuqirada, Aruski, Jidemaga, Ma Deqing, Rouulache, Ale and Qubumo Bamo appeared in the Yi people. The fact of China's minority literature creation is that most minority writers create in Chinese, including those with outstanding achievements. Writers who create their works in their mother tongue are hard to be recognized by the mainstream society precisely because their language can only be used in a small circle. Without translation, others will not be able to understand its splendid cultural heritage.
Since 2005, there have been cultural exchange missions almost every year, and various exchanges have been conducted in universities in Canada, the United States, South Korea, Japan and other countries. In 20 12, we held a large-scale academic activity "Dialogue between Yi Culture and Japanese Culture" in Waseda University, Japan. Several Japanese scholars showed me a unique culture: Japanese nationality from Japanese grammar, Japanese culture from hot springs, and body culture from diet. It also talked about the cultural composition, customs and literature of the Yi people, which aroused their strong interest. An American university is organizing experts to translate my Yi poems into English and publish them. I asked several scholars privately, what do you think of the quality of literature? They said, "Oh, this is a first-class text." When I visited Ohio in 2005, I not only met Indian poets and writers, but also went to the black community. In the meantime, I wrote more than 70 poems, which became a "poetry diary", that is, a collection of poems "A Talk on the Mississippi River", a "cross-civilization writing" composed of Yi language, Chinese and English.
