The quatrains of spring in ancient poetry

1, goodbye

Tang Dynasty: Du Mu

13 years of good posture is light, living like a scepter in bud in early February. In Yangzhou, the spring breeze blows all over Sanli Long Street. With beaded curtains, no one can match her beauty.

2. quatrains

Tang Dynasty: Du Fu

"Two orioles sing green willows, egrets sky-high." Outside my window is the snowy Western Hills. My door often says "goodbye" to ships sailing eastward.

Translation:

Two orioles sang tactfully among the green willows, and a group of neat egrets went straight into the blue sky. Sitting by the window, you can see the snow accumulated all the year round on Xiling Mountain, and ships from Dongwu, thousands of miles away, are parked in front of the door.

3. Gum Arabic

Tang Dynasty: Wang Wei

Red bean shrubs grow in the south. In spring, they sprout many branches. People who miss them hope to collect more. Mix red bean has attracted people's attention.

Translation:

Red and round red beans grow in the sunny south, how many are born in the spring season? I hope that people who miss me will collect more, and small red beans will attract acacia.
