1958 10, his first novel "hoes are like embroidery needles" was published in "Red and Expertise" sponsored by Fujian Provincial Committee, and he was more immersed in poetry creation. Since then, he has published many local folk songs and short stories in Xiamen Daily, Xiamen Literature and Art, Fujian Daily, Jiefang Daily and China Youth Daily.
1978 is the year when China began its reform and opening up. At that time, I worked in Fuzhou Majiang Port Construction Headquarters to make a living and worked as a security guard at the construction site (equivalent to the current security guard); He is the curator of Fuzhou Mawei Cultural Center. Because of the same interest in writing, we became a pair of "poetry brothers".
Sun Xinkai was a man with a "story" since he was a child. What a charming word literature used to be in those days! When she is like a star, flashing in the dim vision of her classmates, I don't know how many people are dragged by the glory of their dreams and trudging on the wasteland of literature. When he was still in primary school, his composition was often read in class as a model essay by the teacher. He wants to be a writer in the future.
The dream in my heart, like the hardships before the seeds germinate, is always looking forward to real growth. One day, he accidentally borrowed a book from the school library to introduce the creative life of Gorky, a great writer in the former Soviet Union. Gorky's wandering career in "social university" left a deep impression on him. Why not use the law to experience life? Isn't it faster to realize your ideal? He was excited about his idea and put it into practice as soon as possible.
One day after school, he didn't go home and got on the bus to the provincial capital. In order not to worry his family, he left a note on his desk: "... don't look for me, I'm going to realize my dream, and in the near future, you will find my name in the newspaper ..."
After arriving in the provincial capital, he first went to the stationery store and bought a thick notebook. He wants to use it to record what he has seen and heard, which are all his future creative materials! However, the reality is not as beautiful as imagined. He went to individual restaurants, construction sites and manual workshops to work, but they were all ruthlessly rejected.
Sun Xinkai recalled this period of time and said: "They either regarded me as a thief wandering around, or they were too young (only fourteen years old) to do anything. Hit the wall everywhere, extremely disappointed! "
He had to sleep on the street, and even the notebook he wanted to use to record creative materials was exchanged with a primary school student for a steamed bun to satisfy his hunger.
Later, he came back angrily and neglected his studies. This made Sun Xinkai regret that "if I had known today, why should I have"!
I once wrote a reportage "Dream of Campus Literature" based on his experience, which was published in Fuzhou Evening News in stages.
May Day that year seemed particularly meaningful. It was the second spring after the downfall of the Gang of Four-1In March 1978, Deng Xiaoping, who had just returned, delivered an important speech at the National Science Conference, announcing to the world that "intellectuals are already part of the working class." This declaration liberated the broad masses of intellectuals from the cross of "bourgeois intellectuals". Especially the old intellectuals, all rejoiced.
May Day is coming. I thought May Day this year should be different from previous years, and intellectuals are also "laborers". This festival is also their festival. There is an impulse to write in my heart, so I wrote a poem "Double Kindness on May 1 this year".
With a feeling of anxiety, I wrote this jingling thing to the literary supplement "Under Wuyishan" of Fujian Daily under the pseudonym of "Golden Hair".
On the afternoon of May Day, I was sitting in the booth of the construction site and saw my friend Sun Xinkai coming to me with a newspaper in his hand. As it drew near, he held up his newspaper and shouted to me, "Today's newspaper published your poem." I can't believe my ears. I stepped forward and repeatedly asked, "Where is it? Where is it? " . I didn't believe it until I actually saw what I wrote turn into type. A surprise, from the heart, beyond words. I think all the first published works are probably like this!
Out of crazy love for poetry, we often hang out together, study poetry magazines and stars as classic reading materials, talk about the experience of reading poetry day and night, discuss the skills of writing poetry, taste the wonderful pen of poetry, and even laugh at the anecdotes of poets. ...
Looking back now, I can't help but sigh: At that time, we were really poetic!
Perhaps influenced by the prevailing atmosphere, he had the impulse to run a magazine. He told me that he would run a mimeographed edition of poetry, and the name of the publication was taken from Zhu De's inscription for Fuzhou Gushan: Orchid Garden.
"Lanyuan, good title!" I totally agree. After a period of preparation, the first issue of Orchid Garden was born. Although it is a thin mimeograph, it has also poured our enthusiasm and hard work. The first issue is almost all our own poems. Sun Xinkai is of course the editor-in-chief, and I am his editor and wax paper engraver. I didn't expect such a crude mimeograph, but it attracted enthusiastic response from all directions. 1In May, 978, Ding Ling, who had just returned to Beijing from the Great Northern Wilderness, sent an essay to Lan Yuan and presented two signed new editions of On the Sanggan River. Many poets sent their works from all directions.
During the period of 1978, many publications were still in a state of "hibernation", but Lan Yuan took the lead in publishing Shu Ting's poems and affirmed and advocated them according to the comments. This shows Sun Xinkai's courage and courage, but also shows that he has a unique eye.
In the 1990s, Sun Xinkai turned from poetry to lyrics creation. Some people say that this is a magnificent turning point in his life, but I don't think so. From the first day he wrote poetry, his poetry creation was rooted in the deep and vast fertile soil of folk songs. His poetry is a wonderful flower after another, which is absolutely different from the works of other contemporary poets (as can be seen from the poems selected in this issue). His turn is like a duck to water, which is a necessity of life.
In recent years, there are many lyrics about the theme of the Straits, but few works are really well written. Sun Xinkai's People in the Straits is an excellent work. The same temple, the same tower, the same loess plastic bodhisattva. The same ancestor, the same root and the same nursery rhyme all sang China. The same swallow, both sides have homes, the same reunion wine, how many spring, summer, autumn and winter have been brewed? ...
In this way, Sun Xinkai brought the most dazzling national style into the ci world and rich poetry into the ci world. He wrote the lyrics of every song into poems, which surprised many famous composers and singers. He turned every line of his beautiful words into melodies and notes, which echoed in the hearts of the audience.
As a native of Fuzhou, he has also injected strength into the burgeoning Fuzhou song creation. Fujian dialect is one of the eight major dialects in Han Dynasty, which was established in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties. Fuzhou dialect plays an important role in Fujian dialect. Sun Xinkai's Tell Your Hometown (composed by Zhang and sung by Hu Weiwei) vividly shows the Fuzhou dialect:
Tell (shout) my hometown,
Bamboo shoots grow all over the mountain;
Tell (shout) my hometown,
My eyes (tears) turn into flowers in the rain,
Flowers in the rain
My hometown is connected with the sea,
Under Zucuo Castle Peak,
Home is a wanderer;
Catch the bright moon in the pond,
The stream comes into contact with fish and shrimp.
How can I not think about it!
(ah! Catch the bright moon in the pond,
The stream comes into contact with fish and shrimp.
How can I not think about it! )
My hometown raised me,
Go to the world,
I always want to repay in my heart;
The goose is back,
Peach blossom and plum blossom again,
How can I not think about it!
(ah! The goose is back,
Peach blossom and plum blossom again,
How can I not go home! )
Tell (shout) my hometown,
The guest magpie chirps in front of the door;
Tell (shout) my hometown,
Tell the jasmine flowers all over the street.
Tell the jasmine flowers all over the street ...
