A villa for visiting friends in the west of Tao Yong in Tang Dynasty.

The west path of lishuiqiao is oblique, and the sun is still high.

There are many similarities between the gardens and alleys in the village, and there are spring flowers everywhere.

translate

The path to the west of lishuiqiao is winding. The sun has risen very high and has not reached your home yet.

How similar the doors and alleys of the village garden are, and bitter orange blossoms are blooming everywhere in the spring breeze.

On March 3, I went to visit a friend who lived by the stream by boat, because I went to visit a friend by boat on March 3. On this day itself, as well as on a beautiful festival, the beautiful scenery can easily remind people of the old Yinshan Lanting meeting. My old friend's home lives on the bank of this stream, and there is a peach forest on the bank of Zhuang.

⑴ Third Day: The fourth day of the third month in the ancient Chinese calendar was Shangsi Festival, which was generally celebrated on the third day of March after Wei and Jin Dynasties.

⑵ Yonghe: Year number of Mu Tianzi in Eastern Jin Dynasty. Wang Xizhi's Preface to Lanting recorded that on the third day of March in 353 AD (the third year of Yonghe), celebrities would gather in Lanting in Huiji Mountain; The author just visited a friend by boat on the third day, so he used this code.

Borrowing the garden for three nights to see the master who plays the flute under the moon: Yuan Mei

Visit Qiushi in autumn night and smell the water first.

Half a day's cool moonlight, a flute of wine makes people feel happy.

The sound stops the blue clouds from approaching, and the fragrance spreads deep in the red lotus root.

Meet under the clear dew, shed shadows and wet skirts.

Appreciate:

The four sentences in the poem all describe the scenery, without a word of discussion or expression, but filled with a sad atmosphere and filled with sad feelings. Savor carefully, such as drinking, with endless aftertaste. The first couplet, "Visit Qiushi in autumn night and smell the water first", laid the emotional tone of the whole poem. "Autumn Night" is already sad, and the interview object is "autumn scholars", which means more bitterness. The ancients said, "Women complain about spring, while men grieve for autumn". The so-called "autumn scholars" refer to those who don't meet each other in their twilight years, and the owner of the library belongs to this category. Although Yuan Mei himself entered the official career and worked as a county magistrate, he resigned as early as seven years ago and lived in Suiyuan, a small Cangshan. They are emotionally connected, which is the premise for the poet to visit Qiushi. When the poet stepped into the library, the first "underwater sound" he heard was the flute. As an auditory image, flute is the central image of the whole poem. It is the expression of the owner's heart and the sustenance of feelings. After the poem leads to the "underwater sound" of the first couplet, the middle two couplets focus on description. However, the poet did not simply describe the flute sound, but used the visual image of "moonlight" and the olfactory image of "lotus root fragrance" as a foil to make the meaning of the flute sound richer and more touching. "Half-day cold moonlight, a flute of wine makes people relaxed and happy" is a well-known saying. "One flute" refers to the sound of the flute, and "drinker" refers to the owner who borrows the garden and is slightly drunk. After he drowned his sorrows in wine, he was not satisfied, so he used the flute to express his feelings. In China's ancient poems, the flute sound is basically a sad image, and the "flute sound" in this poem is no exception. "A Flute Drinks People's Hearts" expresses the sad heart that "Qiu Sheng" has never met, and describes that the flute floats in the cold moonlight, as if soaked in the cold moonlight, adding to the melancholy charm of the flute. Although the flute is sad, the gardener plays it skillfully. Therefore, the neck couplet turns to the cloud, saying that "the sound stops the blue cloud from approaching, and the fragrance spreads the red lotus root deeply." The flute sounded loud, as if it had stopped Yun Lan in the night sky. At the same time, the fragrance of red lotus root wafts in the water, interwoven with the flute, as if the flute also has fragrance. The first time the author heard the "sound of water", it not only aroused his feelings, but also reveled in the enjoyment of music, so he stood for a long time and didn't remember to meet his friends until the end of the flute. Tail cloud:? Meet under the clear dew, shed shadows and wet skirts. ? This couplet is a response to the first sentence. When the author finally heard my friend's flute and met "Qiushi" in the autumn night, they were relatively silent for a long time, and their figures were immersed in the flowing moonlight, which was particularly quiet. Their skirts were wet by the cool window dew, just as their hearts were purified by the sad flute sound. My friend's heart has been poured out in the flute. As a close friend, the author has a grasp and understanding of this. Don't need to ask, also don't need to say more, their hearts have reached a high degree of tacit understanding. The end of the poem is like the sound of an endless flute, which makes people memorable.

The main idea of this poem is to express the deep friendship between the author and Li Qingjiang as bosom friends, but not a word in the poem expresses this meaning. It only writes about the scene of visiting friends at night and the quiet scene when meeting each other, but it has its own emotional fountain running through the whole article, which also reflects Yuan Mei's poetic theory of "being honest, writing poems and songs" (talking in the garden at night).
