The Significance of Ancient Poetry of West Lake Night Scene

The ancient poem about the Pan-West Lake at night describes the beautiful scenery seen by the author Su Shi. The first two songs are the Pan-West Lake under the moon, and the last three songs are the scenery of the West Lake behind the moon.

One of the whole poems on the night view of West Lake

The new moon is still alive, and it took five or six years to gradually linger.

Tonight, if you vomit like half a wall, tourists will have to watch the night.

Secondly,

The night gradually sets the moon, but I want to fall.

Who would have thought that the personnel of the Ming Dynasty would see the black dragon in the west?

third

There is no bullfight in the black dragon, and Chang Geng is promoted in Dongmangjiao.

Before the fisherman realized it, there was only the sound of a boat passing by.

Fourth.

The water is boundless, and the lotus blooms at night.

Watch the lights gradually come out of the temple in the distance, and wait until the moon gets dark to see the lake.

Fifth.

The lake is neither ghost nor fairy, and it is calm.

When you go to the temple, you can't see anything.

Between each poem in the West Lake Night Talk group, the author adopts couplet style (this style of poem originated from Cao Zhi's White Horse is Wang Biao), and the end of each poem is the beginning of the next poem, with a slight change. Second, the beginning of four songs is five or six words at the end of one or three songs; The first four words of the third song are the third to sixty-fourth words of the last sentence of the second song, but the word "going west" is changed to "going"; The beginning of the fifth song is the end of the fourth song.

This is perfect and patchy, and it is easy to read. In style, this group of poems is very different from Su Shi's other poems describing the West Lake, such as The Storm in Youmeitang and The Drunk Book in Wanghulou. Those poems are magnificent, but this group of poems gives people a fresh, elegant and quiet aesthetic feeling.
