In the twelfth year of the Ming Dynasty, Hongzhi exam ushered in two brilliant figures: one was Tang Yin and the other was Tang Bohu; One is Wang Shouren and Wang Yangming. Unfortunately, Tang Bohu was banned for life because of his involvement in Xu Jingke's exam case, which completely ruined his career. In ancient China, the only way out for a scholar was to learn to be an excellent official. Only by passing the imperial examination can they achieve the purpose of benefiting the world and realize their professional ideals. Therefore, Tang Bohu was particularly angry about his experience. From then on, he devoted all his enthusiasm to the field of art, creating a dazzling genius for the history of China art.
Wang Yangming's attitude towards scientific research is different from that of Tang Bohu. His father, Wang Hua, was the No.1 scholar in Hongzhi Dynasty, but before this exam, Wang Yangming had fallen out of the list twice. When someone comforted him, he said that others were ashamed of failing the list, but I was ashamed of my heart after failing the list. When he was young, he asked his teacher, what is the first thing in the world? The teacher said, of course, the imperial examination, he said, the best in the world is a saint. Fortunately, after two failed scientific examinations, Wang Yangming was finally admitted to high school in A.D. 1499, and it was a career.
At that time, the Ming Dynasty was the period of "Eight Tigers Rebellion" when eunuchs were in power. When Liu Jin, the eunuch, had an accident, the civil service group rose up and rebelled. Dai, Bo, etc. Arrested and imprisoned by Liu Jin. At this time, although Wang Yangming was only a six-product sesame official, he also participated in this struggle. He defended the arrested officials. After being beaten by court staff for 40 days, he was thrown into the prison of Royal Guards.
Later, Liu Jin pretended to let Wang Yangming go, but sent someone to follow him. On the banks of Qiantang River, Wang Yangming used his quick wits. He wrote two desperate poems, and then made the illusion of jumping into the sea and cheated the Royal Guards. Wang Yangming hid on a merchant ship and drifted from Zhejiang to Fujian. On the way, the merchant ship lost its way, met with huge waves and almost overturned. On that stormy night, at that moment, Wang Yangming experienced the test of life and death. After the disaster, he established his life goal and made a poem.
Fanhai
Danger never stays in the chest, so what's the difference between floating clouds and space?
At night, the sea of tranquility and waves are three Wan Li, and the moon is windy.
"Danger is not stuck in the chest. What's the difference between floating clouds and space?"
At the beginning of the poem, the manner is natural and unrestrained, showing the honor and disgrace of the world, and taking it lightly. Wang Yangming's theory of mind later liberated the hearts of countless people and broke the shackles of Neo-Confucianism on human nature for hundreds of years. But to liberate the world, we must first liberate ourselves. He said that the sea is rough and the waves are sky-high. As long as the heart is unmoved, what can this storm do? All the difficulties and obstacles in the world have never been taken to heart; The changes of everything in the world are like floating clouds floating across the sky, leaving no trace in my heart. The transcendence of this state of mind is the reconciliation between man and himself and the world. He not only embodies Wang Yangming's resolute and fearless quality, but also embodies Wang Yangming's viewpoint of "being cautious but not looking, being afraid and not asking, and raising this heart is purely natural". With this state, in three or four sentences of the poem, the poet further expressed his feelings at this time-
"The sea of tranquility Wan Li for three nights. The moon flies and the wind blows. "
In this vast and quiet sea, Zhang Xi is holding a long wind in his hand, flying in the moonlight, flying over the sea, flying over the boundless, flying over the vicissitudes of life. Three Seas in Wan Li, a thrilling voyage in stormy waves, was written as a poetic journey by the poet because he had his own instruments and wisdom in his heart.
Later, Wang Yangming did find the instrument of life, and he did use this instrument to fly over the vicissitudes of the world. This is his "Yangming Mind". After writing this song "Crossing the Ocean", Wang Yangming resolutely embarked on the road of relegation. In the wild Guizhou, he finally realized the way of Longchang-"The way of being a saint is to be self-sufficient, and those who seek truth from facts are also not", which laid the foundation of Yangming's theory of mind and made China the last saint. As Wang Yangming later said, "If the sky is not as bright as mine, who will admire him?" The earth is not as bright as mine, who will bow down? Ghosts and gods don't have my spirit, who will compete with him for good or ill luck? "Yes, there is nothing outside the heart." Life must first find yourself, find your childlike innocence, find yourself fearless, and then find your own life value.
