Because he has so many sons, which are more than twelve months in a year, he often says crazy things in front of others: "I have thirteen sons. Even if one of them dies every month, there is still one left to spend the New Year with me."
Immortals are everywhere, and there are "eyes" in heaven everywhere. Yang Gong's arrogant remarks happened to be heard by an immortal who visited the world, and he immediately rushed to the Heavenly Palace to report it to the Jade Emperor.
When the Jade Emperor heard this, he immediately flew into a rage. I didn't expect Yang Gong to dare to be so reckless, and he was really hateful. He gave orders to let Lao Yang's family die one son every month, one on the 13th of the first month, one on the 11th of February, and so on every month. It happened that it was July that year, and one year later, all the sons of Lao Yang's family died.
Since then, people have regarded the 13th day of the first month, 11th day of February, 9th day of March and so on as very unlucky days, and the proper term is called "Yang Gongbi".
Second, Yang Gong Sacrifice
Zhao Guangyi, Song Taizong, was tricked by the Liao State and went to the North for talks. Under the leadership of Yang Jiye, Yang Jiajiang, seven men and eight tigers, went to protect the Northern Expedition, and marched to the front of the two wolf mountains. Yang Jiye thought that this time the soldiers made a taboo of place names. His surname was Yang, and the sheep met the wolf, but it was difficult to meet the two wolves.
As a result, in the war, Yang Jiajiang was ambushed and defeated in Golden Beach. Dalang died for the King of Song Dynasty, Jiro died short-lived, Saburo stepped into the mud, Shiro was stranded in Fanbang, Goro was afraid of death and became a monk, Qilang lost his life because of disorderly arrows, and Yang Linggong was killed before Li Lingbei, leaving only one Yang Liulang. Yang Jiajiang defeat this day, is the 13th day of the first month.
In order to commemorate the loyalty to the country, people designated the 13th day of the first month as "Yang Gongji". In addition, some people say that the "Yang Gong Ji" on the 13th day of the first month is a "Yang Gong Sacrifice", which means that this day is a day when Yang Jiajiang, a hero, and Yang Linggong, a loyal defender of the country, died heroically.
