The distance has people’s endless desires and infinite reveries. Yearning for the distance, yearning for our road to tomorrow.

Look, that’s far away! That's the distance where Li Bai saw Gu Fan going away; that's the distance where Columbus looked at the vast sea and sky; that's the distance where Zhu Ziqing saw his father's back gradually fading; that's the distance where Zhang Qian set out on the Silk Road with his staff in hand. That long unknown journey leads to an unknown distance.
People from far away, when will you come back? The new batch of pioneers are ready to embark on the journey, walking 365 miles, passing through spring, summer, autumn and winter, passing through difficulties and obstacles, and reaching the mysterious distance.
What’s in the distance? Is it a cluster of flowers or thorns, a splashing waterfall or a secluded ravine, a civilization and openness or barbarism? People look at the distant world with all kinds of questions. It is this inquiring gaze that makes the distance full of huge temptations, and people continue to imagine its beauty and regard it as the sustenance of their souls. Over time, people can no longer help their curiosity, suppress their restless nature, and restrain themselves. Unable to hold back the yearning surging in my soul, I took the first step towards the distance and bravely embarked on the journey.
Reality is the distance in the past, and distance is the reality in the future. In the past, people's development made the distant places they yearned for and pursued become the present reality; and the distant places people yearn for and pursue now will definitely become the reality in the future. Human progress is from unknown to knowing. I have already said that there is an element of restlessness in human beings. They will never be content with the status quo and stagnate. "Pioneering and innovative" is the most classic way of survival for the ancient ancestors of mankind, and the distance is always people's new goal. People yearn for distant places, not only because they have a better life in the distance, but also because they have all kinds of challenges they have never experienced before, and they have all their dreams and passions.
Yearning for the distance is Li Qingzhao's "One kind of lovesickness, two places of leisurely sorrow". Yearning for the distance is the freedom of Confucius' "If the road is not good, float on the sea on a raft". Yearning for the distance is Li Bai's "Let go." Among the white deer and green cliffs, the freedom and ease of riding to visit famous mountains as soon as possible, and the longing for the distance are Xin Qiji's sigh of "the golden iron horse can swallow thousands of miles like a tiger". The distant place is the object of praise by literati and poets, and it is also the goal of ambitious people with lofty ideals to conquer. Yearning for the distance is the poem in the hands of the poet, describing the beautiful life; yearning for the distance is also the sharp sword of Qin Shihuang and the bamboo slips of Emperor Wu of Han, which are full of the desire to conquer.
