Bing Xin's modern poems "An Egyptian pilot" and "Vase" prose.

An Egyptian pilot

With a fiery heart,

Stretching out a sweaty hand,

Holding the cold railing,

Stride towards the "bridge"

Right on the edge,

Smile heartily,

Under the rising sun, the Suez River

Silver scales sparkled before my eyes.

"120,000 Egyptian bones sank to the bottom of the river,

120,000 Egyptian blood and sweat floating in the river,

For 80 years, this winding river

I don't know how many compatriots are enslaved!

"Now, we put the fate.

Hold it in your own hands,

Fuck you, imperialist pilot

There are 70 of us, and we have to put

The ship sailed all the way to the end.

"Through the fog of autumn and winter,

Facing the May wind,

We must put this voyage,

When will it be shortened!

"Imperialists don't dream!

The evil plunder is doomed to end.

The Egyptian people stood up,

Don't let pirates still dominate.

"Stand on the bridge with us,

Millions of people in Qian Qian around the world,

We have rock-solid beliefs,

The final victory must belong to us! "

vase

In the past, women were afraid of being called vases. What's wrong with the vase? It is an instrument for planting flowers, and it is the most needed and most beautiful decoration in families or public places. Nowadays, there are many vases in families or public places, especially in hospitals and hotels. There are no vases at all!

In recent years, I have spent more time in hospital because of illness, and I have spent more time visiting patients. I always feel that what patients need is not fruit, not cake, but flowers. The friend who visited you left, leaving the flowers on the bedside. Its faint color and fragrance will always remind you of the good past between you and your friends or other things.

I remember many years ago, when I was traveling abroad or getting sick, no matter how many bouquets I received, hospitals or hotels had vases of all sizes to support me. Europe, America and Japan often take flowers as gifts, whether they are bought by flower shops or cut from flower trees in their own gardens, they are all cut flowers.

At present, in our hospitals and hotels, there are few vases-some hospitals even have color TVs in the superior rooms, but there are no vases-which makes people who visit patients or welcome guests from afar have nowhere to put them. Even sending flowers is the most disappointing thing for both sides!

I think vases should be a necessary item in hospital and hotel equipment. In an elegant and quiet room, putting a vase matching the color of the room on the bedside or the book case and inserting a few flowers will make the room colorful.

Now the motherland is thriving, and the people's material and spiritual life has been greatly improved. In order to meet the needs of medical care and the development of tourism, there are more and more hospitals and hotels, which is the gospel for patients and tourists. I hope that the designers of these two buildings will add vases in addition to curtains, table lamps and so on when decorating indoors. Then there are enterprises that make ceramics, glass, cloisonne and so on. You can also show your talents in vase design and be busy producing millions of beautiful and applicable vases.
