It is precisely because of the continuous development of archeology that we can now say with such certainty that it is a Yuefu that existed in the Qin Dynasty. As if to solve this mystery earlier in the old century, we once again excavated the Qin Dynasty ruins in Xi'an. The cultural relic evidence about the founding of Yuefu has been sealed with clay, so in the new century, the conclusion that Yuefu began in the Qin Dynasty rather than the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty has obviously been sealed, unless something more surprising appears in our archaeological discoveries in the future. There is no convincing evidence, otherwise this argument will last for a long time.
In the "Yuefu Poetry" circulating in the contemporary era, due to its long history and the fact that many people did not have the awareness of copyright when it was collected, we often find many good poems, but we have no chance to know their true meaning. The authors of the poems were collected in the huge institution of Yuefu. Later generations called the poems they compiled and collected together as Yuefu poems, also known as Yuefu. And because our ancestors like to spread the excellent culture of their ancestors, when the wheel of history rolled by the Tang Dynasty, a dynasty where poetry was highly prosperous and the political economy was extremely developed, they developed a new way of playing. These poems whose "melody" had been forgotten by history were selected as classics as templates for literary creation among literati and poets.
