Legendary allusion: The legend of Gusao Tower.
Once upon a time, there lived a couple and a little sister at the foot of Baogai Mountain. In order to get rid of life difficulties, eldest brother went to Nanyang alone to make a living. I haven't heard from her for several years, and my aunt and I are very worried. They often climb the top of Baogai Mountain and climb the rocks to overlook it. One day, inspiration came. They put a letter from home on a kite, cut off their long hair, twisted it into a rope, tied it to a kite and floated to Nanyang. The letter finally reached their big brother. He packed his bags in a hurry and rushed back to Tangshan to comfort his relatives. On this day, menstruation climbed to the top of Baogai Mountain and looked out. Family reunion is coming soon. At this time, the wind suddenly blew hard and the waves were very big. Eldest brother's boat sank to the bottom of the sea, and aunt wept bitterly and committed suicide by falling off a cliff. Later, in order to commemorate their aunt, the villagers built this tower in the place where they looked at the piles of stones in the sea, and named it Gusao Tower. This sad legend is a microcosm of the sufferings of early overseas Chinese, and it also profoundly reflects the indomitable pioneering spirit of Shishi, which has been spread all over southern Fujian and Southeast Asia.
