Commentary: at the foot of the mountain, the night is boundless, and suddenly a group of wild geese are disturbed, singing and flying high. Khan's army tried to escape in the dark of the month, thus exposing his whereabouts. The general intends to lead the light cavalry to catch up, and the heavy snow has covered the bows and swords carried by the soldiers.
Appreciation: This poem mainly describes our own soldiers chasing the enemy on a snowy night. The last sentence shows the cold weather and the heroic enthusiasm of soldiers to kill the enemy with bows and arrows and swords by describing the fact that snow is flying all over the sky.
