Why are Li Shangyin's poems untitled?

Li Shangyin (8 13-858) was a famous poet in the late Tang Dynasty. His poems are not only influenced by Du Fu's poems, but also by Liang Chengong's style poems. He also absorbed the techniques of Li He's poems and presented a beautiful and exquisite style.

Among his poems, epics and love poems can best reflect his artistic style, and the love poem titled Untitled has the highest achievement. The theme of his untitled poems is acacia in love life, focusing on expressing the feelings of acacia under heavy repression, that is, "cutting constantly, reasoning is still chaotic." His love poems are not limited to the expression of personal love, but also contain the poet's lament about life. Coupled with its implicit and deep expression, his love poems reveal sad feelings, but they are decadent, expressing the poet's pursuit of love and life. For example, "meet each other late, don't wait longer, the east wind rises, and a hundred flowers bloom." Silkworms in spring will weave until they die, and candles will drain the wick every night. In the morning, she saw her hair cloud changing in the mirror, but she bravely faced the cold of the moonlight with her evening song. There are not many roads to Pengshan. Oh, Bluebird, listen! -bring me what she said! " . This poem is his masterpiece, in which "Spring silkworms die, night candles are exhausted" vividly and meticulously expresses the yearning for death and becomes an eternal swan song describing love. But in connection with the author's experience, this is not the author's persistent pursuit of life. Therefore, his love poems are rich and profound, and they are memorable to read. Because of this, although he wrote about lovesickness, he did not have the decadent poetic style of Qi Liang, showing a concise and gloomy artistic feature. At the same time, due to the author's incisive and elegant words, although his poems are mostly allusions, they are implicit and deep, but they are not obscure.
