First-class publications

Generally speaking, the first-class periodicals refer to the periodicals sponsored by the national first-class societies registered by China Association for Science and Technology (generally, each society is a periodical) and the periodicals of better key universities in China, and the core periodicals are among the national Chinese core periodicals of Peking University, so the first-class periodicals are definitely far better than the core periodicals. First-class periodicals are generally included in SCI or EI.

First-class periodicals should generally be recognized by peer experts and sponsored by relevant state ministries or national first-class societies (associations), which have great influence; The foreign language version of a first-class periodical can be regarded as a first-class periodical; Academic papers published in first-class journals are first-class journal papers; (SCI, EI (CD-ROM version), ISTP, CSIC, SSCI, AHCI, ISSHP), academic papers published by People's Daily and Guangming Daily, copied by the National People's Congress and reproduced by Xinhua Digest, can be regarded as first-class periodical papers.
