1. Furong Tower: the tower of Runzhou (now Zhenjiang, Jiangsu). Xin Xian: The author's friend.
2. Cold Rain River: Runzhou is on the Yangtze River. It's raining cold along the Yangtze River at night. Wu: The State of Wu in the Spring and Autumn Period was in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, so it was called Wu.

Appreciation of ancient poetry
This poem is different from ordinary farewell poems. It tries to express deep attachment to friends, but focuses on its own innocence and lofty aspirations.
