Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (August 28th, 1749—March 22nd, 1832) was born in Frankfurt am Main, a famous German thinker, writer and scientist. He is the most famous representative of Weimar's classicism. As the creator of poetry, drama and prose, he is one of the greatest German writers and an outstanding and brilliant figure in the field of world literature. In 1773, he wrote a play "Goetz von Berlichenken", which became famous in German literary circles. Young werther was published in 1774, which made him famous.
