Hu Zhang
The mountains are far beyond the sky, and the country is in the East.

Zhang Hu (about 782-852) was born in Nanyang (now Nanyang, Henan). Tired of trying, or working for a foreign government, or being a big guest, it ends in cloth. I have been wandering the rivers and lakes for many years and have a wide origin. He lived in Danyang (now Danyang, Jiangsu) in his later years. He is good at writing palace poems, and his landscape poems and pastoral poems are also well received. He is the author of ten volumes of Zhang Chengji, two volumes of Complete Tang Poetry, and 155 supplementary poems of Complete Tang Poetry.
The name of Songting Station is written on the wall of Songting Station. "Post", a post station, is a place where ancient officials, post attendants and guests stopped. "Songting Post Station", the name of the post station is unknown. The "five lakes" in the poem refers to Taihu Lake in Mandarin and historical records, or Taihu Lake and its nearby lakes, so Songting Post Station is near Taihu Lake. Judging from the content of the poem, the poet did not find the hermit he was looking for, so he wrote this poem to express his regret.
The first couplet is "Seeing Zeguo in the Distant Mountains and Songting Post". The distant mountains contain the sky. The word "Han" describes the length and unevenness of the mountain and vividly shows the connection between the distant mountain and the sky. The second sentence says that the water town Zeguo looks vast.
Zhuan Xu writes about water. The lake is bright because the sun shines on it first. Taihu Lake is in the east of China. Compared with the Central Plains and the Western Regions, Taihu Lake is closer to sunrise. Due to the surging wind, the river turned white. Tim is far away. "Listening to the wind" is to hear the sound of a blustery wind in the distance. These two sentences are vividly written, and the scene is magnificent and magnificent.
A mountain is tied around his neck. Five sentences are about the rugged mountain road extending to the plateau, and six sentences are about the place where the smoke rises. When you look carefully, there are still paths to take, and you feel kind. The poet didn't find the hermit he was looking for on the shore of Taihu Lake, so he turned his eyes to the mountains. Seeing this scene, he has reason to believe that his old friend may also live in seclusion in the mountains.
Wei Lian said that the old man who lives in seclusion on the shore of Taihu Lake is no longer in the five lakes, so does he live in the mountains? The poet didn't say that even living in the mountains is not easy to find. It seems that this trip will only leave him with regrets.
Seclusion is one of the important lifestyles chosen by poets in the Tang Dynasty. This way of life can advance and retreat politically, be guaranteed economically, be comforted ideologically and emotionally, and be enjoyed in the natural environment. Hermits are also willing to communicate with each other, so as to inspire each other, dispel loneliness, expand their influence, and improve their self-cultivation in poetry creation. Therefore, many poems about finding hermits have appeared, and naturally there will be an absent ecluse poem left a footnote. This poem is one of them.
