Yedao fisherman
Ji Zhang
The fisherman is at the estuary,
The tide flows into Chai Fei.
The traveler wants to stay,
Master hasn't come home yet.
Zhushencun Road is far away,
Fishing boats are scarce when the moon rises.
Looking for the beach from a distance,
Spring breeze moves grass clothes.
Appreciation of Zhang Ji's poems
This song is fisherman's night, and the other is fisherman's lodge. Zhang Ji described the fishermen's life with emotional pen and ink, which was rarely touched by predecessors. The theme was novel and the artistic conception was unique.
One evening in spring, the poet swam to the river and caught a glimpse of the scenery, desolate and lonely. From the beginning, the poet showed the typical characteristics of fishing home: the thatched cottage was simple and close to the remote estuary, which was convenient for fishing out of the river.
At high tide, the river tide invaded Chai Men. The poet peeped out of Chai Men and found no one in the room. Why does the poet wander outside the door? It turned out that he was going to live in this fisherman's house, but the owner hasn't come home yet.
"The traveler wants to stay" implies that it is getting late, while "the master has not returned yet" reveals that the master has been fishing on the river for a long time and it is hard to imagine. At this time, the poet had to wander outside the house, waiting and watching the surrounding environment: the bamboo forest was dark and deep, the country road was winding and stretching, and the former village was still far away; The poet looked anxiously at the river, and fishing boats on the river became more and more scarce. The word "far" vaguely expresses the poet's desire to stay here. "The moon rises" indicates that night has come. "Fishing boats are scarce" and "the owner hasn't come back yet" echo each other and complement each other.
Faced with this cold and desolate realm, the poet is eager for the return of his master, and his mood is becoming more and more urgent. Looking at the estuary, he saw a ship coming to the shore in the distance. The fisherman is looking for a beach where he can dock, and his hemp fiber flutters in the spring breeze. The long-awaited fisherman is probably back! The poet's happiness suddenly came into being. The sentence at the end is vivid, lively and full of charm, which is particularly impressive and reflects the poet's sincere feelings for fishermen.
The language of this poem is simple, fluent and vivid. The phrase "spring breeze moves grass clothes" is particularly vivid. As Tian Wen, a poet in A Qing, pointed out when commenting on the characteristics of Zhang Ji's poems: "Famous sayings are superficial and pure." (Ancient Tang Huan Collection)
