Meng Haoran walks in the snow to look for plum blossoms

? Meng Haoran walks in the snow in search of plum blossoms

? During the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, on the Hanshui beach from Lumen Mountain to Dawangzhou in Xiangyang, a middle-aged man could be seen walking on the beach all year round. Come and go. He once crossed the river, and secondly did not wait for the guests. Sometimes he looked up at the mountains, and sometimes looked down at the sand. Even on days when it was snowing heavily, he behaved like this, and the heavier the snow fell, the more he kept doing it. The ground was walking on the "snow blanket" covered with goose feathers, as if looking for something. He is Meng Haoran, a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty. People coming and going from the ferry asked curiously: "Mr. Haoran, the weather is so cold. What are you walking around on the sandbank alone, what are you looking for?" Meng Haoran raised his head and replied cheerfully: "I'm here to look for plum blossoms." The villagers looked at the footprints he left on the snow, and they looked like "plum blossoms" scattered on Dawangzhou. Therefore, someone sent Meng Haoran such a limerick: "Snowflakes are flying in the cold weather for several days, and the heavy snow is flying like goose feathers. Haoran is willing to endure the hardships of wind and frost, and walks on the snow to find the joy of plum blossoms." What kind of "plum blossoms" is Meng Haoran looking for on the sandbank? It is said that Meng Haoran became a poetic friend with landscape poet Wang Wei in his early years, and they corresponded closely with each other. One year, Wang Wei came to Xiangyang from the capital Chang'an. Meng Haoran was overjoyed and hurriedly helped Wang Wei to cleanse himself from the dust. He also invited celebrities in Xiangyang to write poems and compositions to promote the wine. As the master, Meng Haoran first composed these two lines of poetry: "Thousand-petal plum blossoms are proud of the frost and snow, and spring bamboo shoots are three feet high when exposed to rain." I think they are good lines. Wang Wei raised his glass and said: "The rain has accumulated in the empty forest, and the fireworks are late, and the steamed quinoa and millet are cooked in the east." The people sitting there were in awe, and unanimously praised Wang Wei's superb poetry skills. Everyone asked him for advice, but Wang Wei couldn't resist, so he had to say: "Thousands of words are at your disposal, and the spirits of poetry are all around." Meng Haoran felt ashamed after hearing this, but he was also inspired. From this, he determined to appreciate the natural beauty of the changing landscapes throughout the year to fill the gaps in his own creation. After several years of diligent observation, he wrote many excellent pastoral poems. When he was forty-six years old, Meng Haoran visited Chang'an. It happened to be the Mid-Autumn Festival. Scholars in Chang'an invited him to write poems at a meeting. He won the applause of the poets present with his sentence "The clouds are light and the river is thin, and the raindrops are sparse on the sycamore trees."

(Small play) Meng Haoran walks in the snow in search of plum blossoms

? Characters: Meng Haoran (Meng) Qintong (qin)

? Meng (singing) (month tune) : The weather is cold in winter and the vegetation withers. Snowflakes are scattered all over the sky, and I love the plum blossoms blooming in the cold mountains. (Back Palace) Meng Haoran raised his head and looked at the mountains and fields covered with white. Turning around, I called the piano boy. Snow covered the cold mountains, and plum blossoms were floating in front of the Qinling Mountains. You follow me through the snow to find the scenery of plum blossoms.

? Qin (singing) (post tune): Don’t neglect the Qin boy’s instructions and hurry up to pack your luggage in front of the courtyard. He took out the donkey and busied himself with it, and carried the whip and stirrups to prepare the carved saddle. There are several volumes of poems and books on the desk, and a Yaoqin is carried on the shoulder.

? Meng (singing): Haoran is busy changing his clothes and hats.

? Qin (singing): Qin boy also wears a coir raincoat. You come riding a donkey and I chase you on foot, and an old man and a young man climb Yangguan.

? Meng (singing) (fifth update): When the door opens, the mountains are covered with snow, and the scenery is now. The clouds cross the Qinling Mountains and the snow embraces the Lan Pass, and the wind sways the withered willows and the banks of the Ba Bridge. Birds in thousands of mountains have disappeared, and all traces of people have been wiped out. Passing by the deserted city, there are no pedestrians, and the old fisherman fishes alone in the snow in the cold river. (Silver New Silk) Walking through the deserted city to the mountains and rivers, the north wind blew the snow. I am traveling without a friend, and I feel empty and lonely. When I see a shepherd boy, let me ask about it at the restaurant. In the distance, you can see the sloping stone path of Hanshan Mountain, and there are people living deep in the white clouds. The snow is floating beside the reed flowers, and the wine flag is tilted by the wind. Wherever I go, I will beat the cold. A thousand dollars worth of grapes and fine wine would make him drunk and fall into a dream. I don't know the owner, but I have money in my pocket. After drinking, I will explore the plum blossoms. (Lian Xiang) After drinking, we have entered the deep mountains. The three mountains and four rivers are covered with snow. The mountains and rivers are exhausted. There is no other world in the world. The ditches and ditches are all searched, and plum blossoms grow in front of the stone cliffs. The snowflakes are falling and the plum blossoms are blooming. This beautiful scenery is really extraordinary. It does not compete with peaches and plums for spring beauty, but rather with pines and cypresses in its resistance to cold weather. Leave a few poems to praise it. Fold a plum blossom and put it on your chest. (Back and tail) The bell in the mountain temple is ringing. It's already dark, and the piano boy is asked to quickly return to the courtyard gate with his whip raised. The cold mountains are far away at dusk, and people return home on a snowy night. This is the person who does not know how old he is approaching. (End of the month) If you are happy in this world, you must learn how to withstand frost and cold with red plums in the snow. I hope to compose a hundred poems about red plums heralding spring.
