The position of modern poetry

Poetry opens the spiritual world of mankind. In China's cultural tradition, the most subtle exploration of individual self is not philosophy, but poetry. Life, love, loneliness, distress, moving and understanding, in these instantaneous, mysterious and unique spiritual experiences, poetry reveals the finiteness of human life in the realm of changeable situation and flourishing flowers and leaves, and breaks through this finiteness to some extent, opening up the spiritual world of human beings and endowing it with short-lived meaning.
