There are too many ancient poems with four crosses. I happened to be reading and appreciating Tang poems at hand, so I will briefly record a few:
One: Inscribed on Du Mu of Zenzhi Temple in Yangzhou
After the rain, the cicadas make a noise, and the pines and osmanthus are fluttering in autumn.
The steps are covered with moss, so the white bird stays late.
Deep trees grow in the evening mist, and the small building shines under the setting sun.
Who knew that Zhuxi Road, singing and playing music, was Yangzhou.
Second: Looking at Yue Du Fu
How about Dai Zongfu?
Qilu is still young.
The clock of creation is beautiful, and the yin and yang cut off the dusk.
Strata of clouds grow in the chest, and returning birds enter the canthus.
You will be at the top of the mountain, and you will have a panoramic view of the mountains.
Third: Two poems about Zhang's seclusion (Part 2) Du Fu
We met when his son was young,
Invited people to stay later.
Chitan is buzzing, and spring grass and deer are blooming.
Du Jiu prefers labor and persuasion, while Zhang Li does not ask for help.
The road to the mountain in front of the village is dangerous, but you will have no worries when you return home drunk.
Fourth: Fang Bing Cao Hu Ma Du Fu
Hu Ma Dayuan's name,
The sharp edges and thin bones.
The ears of the bamboo are steep, and the wind blows lightly on the four hooves.
There is no open space wherever you go, and it is truly worthy of life and death.
With this, Xiaoteng can travel thousands of miles.
Part 5: Painting the Eagle by Du Fu
The wind and frost are rising,
The goshawk painting is special. My body is like a cunning rabbit, and my sideways eyes are like a sad beard.
The sash is worthy of being picked, and the Xuan Ying is powerful.
Why should I strike at an ordinary bird and scatter its hair and blood on the grassland?
