Many famous poets appeared in the early Tang Dynasty, but most of my friends don’t know much about the poets of the Tang Dynasty. There are four other people called the "Four Heroes of the Early Tang Dynasty". So who are the four poets of the Early Tang Dynasty?
1. Wang Bo: Wang Bo, also known as Zian, was a famous writer and poet in the Tang Dynasty. Wang Bo, together with Yang Jiong, Lu Zhaolin, and King Luo Bin, are known as "Wang Yang Lu Luo" and "The Four Heroes of the Early Tang Dynasty". Wang Bo created a large number of poems and essays when he visited the mountains and rivers of Bashu, and was especially good at the five rhymes and the five uniques. His representative works include "Send Off to Du Shaofu for His Appointment in Shuzhou", "Song of Collecting Lotus", "Watching Spring on the City", etc.
2. Yang Jiong: Yang Jiong, also known as Lingming, was a famous writer in the Tang Dynasty of my country. He was called a "child prodigy" when he was 11 years old. In the third year of Yuan Dynasty, he was named the school secretary. In the first year of Ruyi, he moved to Yingchuan County magistrate. In the second year of Ruyi's reign, he died in office. Yang Jiong is good at writing prose and poetry, and his representative works include "On the Military March", "Breaking Willows", "Farewell to Zizhou Zhou Sigong", etc.
3. Lu Zhaolin: Lu Zhaolin, also known as Shengzhi and nicknamed Youyouzi, was born in Fanyang County, Youzhou and was a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty of my country. Lu Zhaolin loved poetry and literature, and was one of the "Four Heroes of the Early Tang Dynasty" together with Wang Bo, Yang Jiong, and King Luo Bin. Lu Zhaolin's poems are composed of parallel prose, which is excellent in song style, and his beautiful lines are praised endlessly, such as "How can I say goodbye to death when I have achieved success? I am willing to be a mandarin duck and not envy the immortals", etc., which are praised as classics by later generations.
4. King Luo Bin: King Luo Bin, whose courtesy name is Guanguang, was born in Yiwu, Wuzhou. He was a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty of my country. King Luo Bin's poems are bold in diction and rigorous in rhyme. His representative works include "The Past", "Singing Cicadas in Prison", "Preface to the Banquet of Chuguo Temple in the Dark Sun", etc.
