He once used the pen name Beifeng. In 1997, he was admitted to the Chinese Department of Yanbian University in Jilin Province and started writing poetry the following year. His works have been published in public journals and some private journals. He has served as a special editor and special writer for some public publications. Later, he moved around among some folk journals, and successively served as deputy editor, editorial board member and writer of some folk journals. In 2000, he stopped publishing works.
