Bing Xin (1900.10.5-1999.2.28), formerly known as Xie Wanying, was a writer, poet and essayist from Changle District, Fuzhou, Fujian Province. Since he began to publish his works in 1919, he has written many translations, including the prose collections "For Young Readers" and "Ode to Cherry Blossoms", and the poetry collections "Spring Water" and "Stars", which are famous in the history of literature and have nurtured several generations of young people.
