It is the work of Mrs. Xu Mu during the Spring and Autumn Period. This poem was written in the first year of Weiwen (659 BC). After Wei was occupied by the Di people, Mrs. Xu Mu rushed to Caoyi and wrote it to express her condolences for the peril of her motherland. The first chapter of this poem explains the story; the second chapter begins to describe the poet's inner conflicts; the third chapter gradually eases the contradictions and the rhythm of the poem gradually slows down; the fourth chapter describes the wife's thoughts on her way home.
