The Origin of China's Poems

China is a great poetry country with a history of more than 3,000 years. Micro-poems did not fall from the sky, nor did they emerge from the ground, but sprouted in the world. Many of the earliest poems are only micro-poems, so we say that micro-poems have existed since ancient times. Such as the ancient "Waiting for People": "Waiting for People!" (a line of poetry); "Yi Shui Ge": "The wind is rustling and the water is cold, and the strong men are gone forever" (two lines of poetry); Liu Bang's Song of the Big Wind: "The wind rises and clouds fly, the weaver girl returns to her hometown in the sea, and the brave stay in all directions." (three lines of poetry). Wait a minute. It's just that ancient miniature poems appeared as part of ancient poetry.

Since the May 4th Movement, modern short poems have developed rapidly with the New Culture Movement, such as Bing Xin's Spring Water, Zong Baihua's Iron, Guo Moruo's New Moon and Baiyun. Wait a minute. It's just that modern short poems only appear as an integral part of short poems.
