Shi Mao is China's first collection of poems. Since the Han Dynasty, many people have annotated it, especially Zheng Xuan's annotation in the Han Dynasty and Zhu's annotation in the Song Dynasty.
Jian Zheng, a poem by Mao, is one of the three major research works on The Book of Songs in Han Dynasty (the other two are Preface to Mao Poetry and Biography of Mao Poetry). It adopts the poetry theories of Qi, Lu and Han, integrates the concept of three rites to interpret poetry, combines poetry with ethical concepts, analyzes and combs the development clues of Mao's poems in the Han Dynasty for later generations, reveals the inheritance relationship of Mao's poems in the Han Dynasty, and summarizes the interpretation characteristics of Mao's poems, which is of great significance.
