Urgent need for translation

With the support of1999 "985 Project" of 40 million books, after three years' efforts, the electronic resources of Southern University Library have greatly increased, and more than 10,000 kinds of central foreign language full-text electronic journals provide convenient and fast online services, which has more than doubled the latest academic resources. The study, work and service environment has been greatly improved, which has improved the online environment for teachers and students, and improved the depth and breadth of knowledge acquisition and information. In June, 20001,in order to welcome the centennial celebration of Nanjing University and further improve the service environment, the existing library was extensively rebuilt and expanded. On the occasion of the centennial celebration in 2002, the library of Nanjing University welcomed readers with a brand-new look. After the centennial celebration in 2002, in order to speed up the construction of Nanjing University into a world-class university, the construction of a new library in Pukou Campus has been included in the plan, and the preparatory work has begun. In the near future, the library of Nanjing University will welcome readers with a more superior service environment.
