I. Dali

It covers an area of 676 hectares, of which the water area is called Wenhai (Lake), with an area of 160 hectares, which evolved from an ancient glacial lake. The lake has disappeared from several sinkholes in its south. Autumn and winter are wet seasons, and migratory birds inhabit them. Yulong mountain is reflected in the lake, as quiet as a fairyland; Spring and summer are dry seasons, and iris grows very long. In the past, it was one of the main roads of the ancient tea-horse road on the Yunnan-Tibet line, and caravans often stayed here to raise mules and horses.

Lashihai, Yulong County, Lijiang City is a part of the ancient geosyncline in northwest Yunnan. During the Mesozoic Yanshan movement, the fold uplifted into land and became a quasi-plain in Miocene. With the development of orogeny in Hengduan Mountains, the quasi-plain under Yulong Snow Mountain was divided into three highland intermountain basins with relative height difference of 65,438+000 meters to 200 meters from the end of Pliocene to the beginning of Pleistocene, namely Lashiba, Lijiang Dam and Qiheba.
