4. Introduction to the poet: Liu Changqing, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, was born in Hejian (present-day Hebei). He was a scholar in Tianbao (742-756 during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty) and once served as a magistrate of Changzhou County. He was imprisoned, demoted twice, moved to Sima, and was finally appointed as Suizhou secretariat.
