Ma Wei in Yuan Mei in Qing Dynasty.
Don't sing the song of everlasting regret, the world also has its own galaxy.
In Shihao Village, the husband and wife say goodbye and shed more tears than in the Palace of Eternal Life.

The sad and happy story between Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, and Yang Yuhuan, the imperial concubine, has aroused many literati's emotional thinking. Bai Juyi's famous Song of Eternal Sorrow not only reveals the political tragedy caused by Tang Xuanzong's love for Yang Guifei, but also expresses sympathy for their love tragedy. But Yuan Mei's poems are unconventional and innovative. He put the love tragedy of Li and Yang in the tragic experience of civilians, and emphasized that the suffering of civilians was far from comparable to that of imperial concubine. Song of Eternal Sorrow and Li Shihao are both well-known poems, and their creation background is the Anshi Rebellion. On the one hand, they take the life of the emperor as the theme, on the other hand, they take the experience of the people as the theme, which just constitutes a sharp contrast.
Ma Wei was written by Yuanmei when she went to Shaanxi as an alternate officer in the seventeenth year of Qianlong (1752) and passed by Ma Wei Post. There are four songs. Yuan Mei broke up with his aunt and went to Shaanxi, which was beyond their control. Reminiscent of the Li Yang incident written by Bai Juyi in Song of Eternal Sorrow, they think that there are countless places where people go, and where Li Yang goes is not worthy of sympathy. The love story of Tang Xuanzong and Yang Guifei meeting on Tanabata, which was circulated in those years and written in Song of Eternal Sorrow, is not worth singing, because there is still a "Galaxy" in the world that can separate couples, and I wonder how many couples have suffered the pain of Where Are You Going? Just like in Shihao Village, the scene where the son died in battle, the wife was widowed, the old man climbed over the wall, the old woman applied for a job, and the husband and wife said goodbye was even more tearful than the love tragedy of Xuanzong and Guifei.
"Don't sing the song of eternal hatred, the world also has its own galaxy", which shows the poet's deep sympathy for the suffering of the lower class; The phrase "There are more tears than the Palace of Eternal Life" reveals the reality that many couples can't get together because of all kinds of misfortunes in society.
The whole poem expresses emotion by chanting Ma Wei, and advocates that poetry should reflect people's suffering life more, which shows the author's progressive literary creation point of view.
Although this poem is lyrical, it is actually an argumentative poem. The first two sentences are based on Ma Su, and the last two sentences use allusions to demonstrate the above viewpoints. The materials of arguments and arguments were originally old, but the author turned the old ones into novelty, making them serve his own new ideas, and the old ones became new, which was quite wonderful. The whole poem, as the author himself said, "borrow the past of the ancients to express my feelings." ("Poetry with the Garden")
Yuan Mei's Ma Wei is very interesting. From the title to the text, there are allusions everywhere, but they are all familiar allusions, which are very popular to read, but the poems contain rich contents and are worth remembering. The title of the book is "Mawei", which is the place where Emperor Xuanzong was forced to execute Yang Guifei-Maweigang (now the west of Xingping County, Shaanxi Province). At that time, in order to escape the Anshi rebellion, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty fled to Sichuan and passed through Mayi Post. The army refused to go west, and finally forced Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty to execute Yang and Yang Guifei. Yuan Mei's poem is about this matter. The "Song of Eternal Sorrow" in the first sentence refers to Bai Juyi's famous long poem "Song of Eternal Sorrow", in which the love between Tang Xuanzong and Yang Guifei is sad. The "Galaxy" in the second sentence refers to the story of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl. It is also tragic that they are blocked by galaxies. "Shihao Village" in the third sentence refers to Li Shihao written by Du Fu, in which an old couple separated because the government arrested people as soldiers. The Palace of Eternal Life in the fourth sentence is one of the palaces in the Tang Dynasty. There is a poem in Song of Eternal Sorrow: "On the seventh day of July, in the Palace of Eternal Life, we secretly told each other in a quiet midnight world", which means the oath made by Tang Xuanzong and Yang Guifei together. The first sentence is based on historical events, the second sentence is about scattered people, the third sentence is an example, and the fourth sentence is compared with the first sentence's historical events. This is really a cycle, such as endless, thought-provoking, thought-provoking sentence.

There is no need to sing the joys and sorrows of the emperor's concubines; There is also the Milky Way in the world, which separates thousands of couples in Qian Qian. Couples like Shi Haocun can never be counted. The tears of ordinary people are much more than those spilled in the Palace of Eternal Life.
