Representative poets of Jianghu Poetry School

Liu Kezhuang (1 187- 1269) is the poet with the longest life span, the highest official position and the greatest achievement. He likes to lag behind, so he is regarded as a leader by many Jianghu poets. His early poems were influenced by the "Four Spirits", and Ye Shi even thought that he was the successor of the "Four Spirits". But Liu Kezhuang's most admired contemporary poet is Lu You, whose influence made him part ways with the "Four Spirits" in theme orientation. Liu Kezhuang is concerned about state affairs, and the threats from Kim and Mongolia worry him. The political failure of the Southern Song Dynasty and the weakness of the army made him even more saddened. His Yuefu poems include Mourning the Country, Building a City, Suffering from Cold, etc., such as Music in the Army:

Diao Dou was placed on the surface of the camp, and the tent door was deeply guarded by ten thousand people. General is expensive, not with the saddle. He sends troops to guard the pass every night. You said you weren't afraid of Lu, so you went to shoot elk and catch deer to drink. More wine wakes up the mountains and the moon sets, and women are full of fun. Who knows that the bloody people in the camp have no money to take alloy sore medicine!

The description is vivid and profound, and it inherits the tradition of the Tang Dynasty XinlYuefu poets and Lu You.

Liu Kezhuang was also a great artist in the Tang and Song Dynasties, and his poetic style showed many origins, especially from Jia Dao and Yao He to the "Four Spirits". But on the whole, Liu Kezhuang's poetic style is not bound by the "four spirits", such as "Walking in the Outskirts":

I'm still hot after a rain, but I'm thinking about sticks and quinoa. Wild sand storks stand, crows crow ancient wooden temples. A lost servant was lost on the road, and firewood was carrying the stream. Traveling alone is fun, so why ask about the habitat?

Thinking about new language skills, the writing style is not very polished, and the style is simple and bright, which is far from the poetic style of "Four Spirits".

Liu Kezhuang's shortcoming is that he pursues the quantity of his works wholeheartedly, so he is familiar with his works, especially his seven laws and seven requirements. He often has more than one topic, and his pen shaking is too rough. This is also a common problem of Jianghu Poetry School.

Dai Fugu (1 167- 1248? ) I like roaming and am famous for my poems. He studied poetry under Lu You in his early years, and later advocated the late Tang Dynasty, but he was most influenced by Lu You's vigorous poetic style. Although he is in the Jianghu, his poems inherit the traditions of Du Fu and Lu You, criticize state affairs and reflect the people with little scruples. For example, "Geng Zi recommended hunger" accused the government of hypocrisy in disaster relief: "Giving relief through litigation is just another word!" The sharpness of words is rare in Song poetry. Dai Fugu's best poems are his perception of current events, such as Floating Far Hall in Jiangyin and Water Frequency in Huaihe River.

Overlooking the Yokooka River, far away in front of Wan Li Sorrow Hall. The most bitter thing is that there is no mountain to cover your eyes. Huainan is the best in China!

Some tourists come to visit Hao Liang, and they move frequently on the Huaihe River. The water in the southeast is salty, which is not so beautiful. The spring breeze is blowing green waves, gloomy and primitive. The north shore is not painted, but there are heroic tears in it.

There is a strong breath in depression, and the language is simple and thought-provoking, which is unique among Jianghu poets.
