Don’t you have Mr. Wen Yiduo’s “Three Beauties of New Poetry”? The theory of three beauties sums it up very well. That is, the beauty of architecture, music, and painting. To put it simply, the form must be beautiful, architecturally hierarchical, and divided into sections, which is also the need for structure and emotional expression; the melody must be harmonious, that is, rhyme; the content must be rich and substantial, using imagery to pin emotions on the scenery. Achieve scene blending. From my personal point of view, the development of modern poetry today is very sluggish. There are neither the innocent and warm creative works of Haizi nor the impassioned and passionate poems of the people's poets who lived in dire straits in the middle of the last century. There are not many widely known poems. The aphorisms sung that reveal the truth are just right and vivid. Perhaps it is because the development of the commodity economy has erased the depth of poetry creation. From the poet himself, the depth of thinking is not enough and he has no real feelings to observe life. Therefore, we young people who love modern poetry must work harder. It would be heartwarming and gratifying to make even a small contribution to the development of modern Chinese poetry. The above are all my personal opinions, I don’t know if they are right or wrong, they are just for reference.
