What are the colors of modern poetry?

For modern poems about color, please enjoy Lawrence's poem Green.

Original text:

The sky is apple green,

The sky is green wine in the sun,

The moon is a golden petal.

She opened her eyes, green.

Eyes shining, as pure as unopened buds,

The first time, the first time at this moment.

The whole poem has only two sections. The first part describes the beauty of the sky that poets saw at dawn. Apple green sky, sunshine, crescent moon and petals have strong color contrast and unique shape, which makes the picture pleasing to the eye.

In the second section, the poet turned to the description of the characters. The beloved slowly opens her eyes at dawn. Her pale green eyes are clear and charming, just like budding buds.

"Green" is the keynote of the whole poem. The poet presents two images in juxtaposition, the sky at dawn and the eyes of his lover. Take "green" as a link to connect two seemingly unrelated images. While expressing the poet's extraordinary observation and sensibility, it also provides readers with a super imagination space, and people can't help but follow the poet's feelings to appreciate the instantaneous beauty in life.

This poem is a model of imagist poetry, and critics call it "Green Rhapsody".
