peace is the goal that mankind pursues and yearns for.
However, if the world wants peace, each of us has the obligation to be the one who sows the seeds of peace. I especially like Francis of Saint Sicily's prayer for peace:
Lord! Lord, make me your instrument of peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow kindness,
Where there is harm, let me sow forgiveness,
Where there is suspicion, let me sow trust.
ah! Lord! Lord, make us your tools of peace.
Where there is despair, let me sow hope;
Where there is darkness, let me sow light;
Where there is sorrow, let me sow joy.
ah! Lord! Lord, make us your tools of peace.
I don't ask for comfort from others, I just ask for comfort.
I don't ask for forgiveness from others, I just ask for forgiveness.
I don't ask for love from others, I just ask for love.
ah! Lord! Lord, make us your tools of peace.
because when we give to others,
we are given, because when we forgive others,
we are forgiven, because when we lose our lives,
we are born in eternity.
The prayers of saints often inspire me to be peaceful in my life. When I encounter disputes, prayers inspire me to face them with peace of mind and deal with them with forgiveness and love.
I am particularly moved by the word "sowing" used by saints. In places of hatred, let us sow kindness. Sowing is a beautiful word. It is a process. Sowing requires loosening soil, fertilizing, weeding, watering and then waiting patiently. It requires patience, dedication and responsibility.
in the sermon on the mountain, Jesus issued a charter to Christians: there are eight blessings, one of which is that peacemakers are blessed, and they will become children of God.
On June 8th, at one o'clock, peace-loving people all over the world prayed for world peace, prayed for those who suffered from war persecution, and asked God to heal their painful bodies and minds, so that they could enjoy peace and live a stable life at an early date, let our prayers reach heaven and let the world blossom with peace.
