About the author Wang Wei was born in 701 AD, named Mojie, Han nationality, and his ancestral home is Qi County, Shanxi Province. He was a poet in the Tang Dynasty, nicknamed "Poetry Buddha". In the ninth year of Kaiyuan (721), he was a Jinshi and was appointed Tai Lecheng. There are 400 poems in existence today. Yu Shou. Wang Wei is proficient in Buddhism. Writing background Wang Wei had an enterprising spirit in his early years and wrote some generous poems, but there were more negative elements in his thoughts. After Zhang Jiuling was dismissed from office (736 AD) , he was politically discouraged, so he devoted himself to the mountains, rivers, pastoral, and Buddhist Zen philosophy, and lived a life of both officialdom and seclusion in Wangchuan Villa.

The scenery is only "secluded bamboo", "deep forest" and "bright moon", and the person is just "sitting alone". ", "Playing the piano", "Lang Xiao", but the beauty of it lies precisely in this. These four short sentences use a natural and plain style to describe the tranquility and elegance of living in a bamboo forest, the understanding of objects and hearts, emotions and scenery. Harmony contains a different kind of beauty, which is probably the reason why it has been chanted by future generations for thousands of years.
2. Read it again, there is movement in the silence, sound in silence, light and dark. The contrast is unique. The "playing the piano" and "howling" reflect the tranquility of the bamboo forest; the light and shadow of the "bright moon" reflect the darkness of the "deep forest". This is similar to the "noisy forest" in "Entering Ruoye Stream" by Wang Ji, a poet of the Southern and Northern Dynasties. "It's more quiet, the birds are singing, and the mountain is more secluded." It has different approaches but the same purpose.
3. The structure of the whole poem is very rigorous, echoing from beginning to end, and the spirit is connected. If there is "sitting alone", it should be "people don't know". "; if there is "secluded bamboo", it should be "deep forest"; if there is "sitting alone", it should be matched with "come to take a photo"; if there is "secluded bamboo", it should be "understood".
