Shanglian: three talents, heaven and earth; Bottom line: Can you match it?

The ancients in China paid attention to antithesis whether they wrote poems or couplets. Therefore, the very famous Mongolian book "Rion to the Cloud" has a very systematic routine: "The sky is against the ground, the rain is against the wind, and the mainland is against the sky. Mountain flowers are to the sea trees, and the sun is to the sky. Ray faint, foggy, it's getting dark ... "

Ok, I think of a couplet. Please check it. The first part is: three talents, heaven and earth; What's the next step?

Someone is right: three lights, the sun, the moon and the stars. Does it look okay? But the first word of the upper and lower couplets is "three", isn't it too particular?

So Su Dongpo came up with a solution: four elegant poems. What's the point? Literally, shouldn't Yasun be "three poems"

You don't know something.

Ode to Ya represents China's first collection of poems, The Book of Songs. The "wind" in the Book of Songs represents folk songs, and so does the so-called fifteen-country wind; "Ode" represents the voice of the temple; As a poet's poem, "elegance" is divided into elegance and vulgarity. So it makes sense to say "four poems".

However, our focus is on the upper part: heaven, earth and people. It contains the principles of the Book of Changes, especially the tradition of the Book of Changes.

So, is there anything else besides Zhouyi?

You guessed it! As we mentioned, the Book of Changes has "three changes". Let's analyze it in detail:

The first "Yi" is the Book of Changes system initiated by Fuxi, which is called "Lian Yi Shan". Because its original divination is the divination of "Gen", its divination is that two mountains are connected, so it is called "Lianshan".

The Yi-ology system of Lianshan, which started with the divination of "Gen", to some extent represents the life form of ancestors who mainly hunted in the mountains.

The second "Yi" is the Yi-ology system initiated by the Yellow Emperor, which is called "Gui Zang Yi", because its initial divination is "Kun" divination, which represents the intersection of set and virtue.

The Yi-ology system of returning to Tibet, which began with the divination of Kun, represents the life form of the ancients entering the agricultural society to a certain extent.

The third "Yi" is the Zhouyi system initiated by King Wen and Duke Zhou. With Gan Kun as the core, Zhouyi represents that people at this time have a broader realm and position their lives in a broader world.

Confucius praised Yi and gave different explanations to Gan Kun. Gan and Kun, as the "mother hexagrams" in the sixty-four hexagrams, established a special position. And people, standing between heaven and earth, have the concept of "indomitable spirit" and "three talents stand side by side" in China culture.

Among them, the dry divination represents positive energy, and the emphasis is on "doing". The so-called "good health, a gentleman constantly strives for self-improvement" is an enterprising action force.

Kungua represents negative energy and focuses on "potential". The so-called "the terrain is Kun, and the gentleman carries things with morality" is a kind of bearing that guides the situation.

The most suitable divination between heaven and earth should be "Qian" divination, because among the 64 divinations, only Qian divination is auspicious and represents perfect personality cultivation.

Literally, we can see that the word "modesty" has both left and right sides, which means that when we speak and do things that are beneficial to the world, we should take into account the interests of all parties. Imagine, if you can do this, how can you not find anything?

So, full of losses, modest benefits! As human beings, if we want to make a difference between heaven and earth, we must:

First, imitate the spirit of "doing" hexagrams, forge ahead and strive for self-improvement;

Second, imitate the spirit of "Kun", be eclectic, generous and virtuous;

Third, follow the spirit of "being open-minded" and treat others with an open mind.

If you can do these three things, you will climb to the top of the high mountain and walk on the deep seabed, and truly realize the three talents and the king of your life!
