Du Yingnuo's Elegy

Du Yingnuo's elegy in Rilke is obscure and shrouded in poetry. Fortunately, it was translated by the translator Mr. Li. The whole set of poems seems to write down fragments of thoughts and chapters of thoughts, but in fact the meaning is the same. If we don't know Rilke's life and the background in which he wrote this elegy, poetry will become the Da Vinci code with aesthetic significance.

In the preface of this book, the translator Mr. Li introduced the legendary and poetic origins of this group of poems:

Du Yingnuo's 10 elegy lasted nearly ten years, from1late October to 1965438+65438, an accidental inspiration, to the last 1922. It is not an epic, but it is a miracle of poetry that it can keep that kind of inspiration for such a long time, and finally, with superhuman perseverance and extraordinary talent, it preserves the initial poetic excitement in loneliness, sadness and calm.

Mr. Li is a member of the Swiss Rilke Society, specializing in Rilke's poems. Therefore, his interpretation may partly convey the original intention of Rilke's poems. However, this interpretation is bound to be branded as the interpreter, which is another kind of internal translation. Coupled with the text translation from German to Chinese, Rilke's poems may have lost their original features. -Poetry is untranslatable.
