Li He was born in a poor aristocratic family in Zhenyuan, Tang Dezong in the sixth year. He actively embraced and used the world politically, but his political career was difficult and he was ill. Wandering in his later years, fame and fortune, grief and indignation are getting deeper and deeper. Coupled with the death of his wife, Li He was depressed and sick. His poetic style is good at ethereal and even bizarre, and his content is mainly to express grief and indignation. Its artistic characteristics are: fantastic imagination, fantastic rhetoric, colorful changes and deliberate innovation. Therefore, later generations called him "Shi Gui".
Li Bai and Li He are both representative poets in the Tang Dynasty. The artistic features of their poems are different, but they are inextricably linked. Although both of them are regarded as geniuses by later generations, their different origins, environments, experiences and many other factors have caused the differences in artistic characteristics of their poems.
Later generations all know that Li He and Li Bai are more similar in poetic attainments, but because Li Bai is well-informed, he became a better poet, and Li He was later called "Shi Gui". If Li He can have more time to experience like Li Bai, can his final achievement be comparable to that of Li Bai?
Li He lived a miserable life, and his talents were not satisfied, which led to his withdrawn personality and his early death. The lack of experience makes him lack a deep understanding of reality, but because of his high talent and intelligence, even if he lacks travel experience, he can still write amazing poems with his imagination. Therefore, if we can give him enough time to travel around the outside world, there may be different situations, so that his writing can go up a storey still higher, even commensurate with Li Bai.
