Original poem:
Jiang Lin presented Qian Mufu Song: Su Shi
Since we have been in Beijing for three years, far away from the world, you have traveled around the world. When I meet with a smile, it's still warm as spring. Your heart is like an ancient well, not water, and the peak is like a bamboo pole in autumn.
My heart is melancholy, because you want to separate the sails overnight. When you see me off, the clouds are the color of the moon. There is no need for the girls of Pei Jiu to feel too sorry for the glass. Life is a difficult journey, you and I are both passers-by, just like stopping at different hotels. (Zuntong: Zun)
Explanation:
We haven't seen each other in Beijing for three years. You are always wandering around the world. When we meet and laugh, it is still warm as spring. Your heart will always be like an ancient well, and high winds and bright days are like bamboo poles in autumn.
I'm disappointed that you will set sail overnight, and when you say goodbye, the clouds are pale and the moon is bright. Don't frown with a glass in your hand. Life is a difficult journey, and you and I are both passers-by.
Extended data:
This word was written in A.D. 109 1 year (the sixth year of Yuan You, Song Zhezong) when Su Shi learned that Hangzhou (now Zhejiang) had bid farewell to his old friend Xie Qian who had moved from Yuezhou (now Shaoxing North, Zhejiang) to Yingzhou (now Hejian, Hebei) and passed through Hangzhou. Su Shi was about to leave Hangzhou. So, just give this word.
Although Su Shi actively joined the WTO all his life, he had distinct political ideals and opinions, but on the other hand, he was deeply influenced by Laozi, Zhuangzi and Buddhism. Whenever the officialdom is frustrated and in a difficult situation, he can always "swim outside things (definition: probably because my heart can transcend things)" and "be happy everywhere (definition: the reason for being happy everywhere)".
Respond to external interference with a calm and comfortable attitude, showing a sense of detachment and freedom.
In this farewell speech, "Laugh like spring" and "Don't frown before drinking. Life is like a journey, and I am also a pedestrian. (Interpretation: Don't frown with a glass. Life is a difficult journey, and you and I are both passers-by. ) and other sentences are the concentrated expression of Su Shi's bold personality and philosophical attitude.
But behind these broad-minded words, we can still observe the poet's faint melancholy about the ups and downs of the official and his deep lament about his lost life.
