Loving Father God:
We thank and praise you, because you are the God who created heaven and earth, and only you are worthy of worship and praise! You gave your only son, Jesus Christ, and laid down your life for me on the cross, so that our sins could be forgiven and we could enjoy eternal life.
We came to see you today to commemorate our ancestors (father/mother/relatives, etc.). ), they live in the sky you blessed and the land you gave them, and are grateful for the life you gave our ancestors (father/mother, etc.). ), because you also gave me physical life through them.
Dear Lord, let us thank them in front of you and our ancestors (father/mother/relatives, etc.). Thanks for their hard work, let us always remember their virtues and upbringing.
Lord, whenever we remember our ancestors, let us respect every lost life! It makes us lament the wonder of the life you created, cherish every living life, and make us fear you even more.
Please let us truly understand that only the Lord Jesus is the way, truth and life. May you bless all our living relatives, and may they open their eyes, accept Christ and enjoy eternal life.
Pray for the holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ Amen!
Matters needing attention
1, remember that Christians pray to God, not to people, whether they are deceased relatives or people living in the world.
2. Our attitude is to pursue the future cautiously, be grateful for remembering our ancestors, and remember not to pray for the dead (unbelievers) to enter heaven, but to pray for the living, hoping that they will believe in Jesus.
3. Clean the ancestors' graves (or places where urns are placed). Flowers can be placed in front of the grave, but nothing can be burned and no one or thing can be worshipped.
4. Embrace unbelieving family members with love, euphemistically express Christian principles and viewpoints, pray to the Lord for family members, and remember to avoid blood-gas arguments with them.
5. If family members insist on rituals that are inconsistent with the Bible (such as burning paper). ), they can stand aside and not participate, praying to God to purify themselves and make themselves holy.
