"Yuefu" refers to an old poetic style that can be sung with music, such as Mulan poetry, which appeared in the literary history of Han, Wei and Six Dynasties. Is there a problem with the content?

Wrong. Yuefu refers not only to a poetic style.

The original meaning of Yuefu means that Yuefu is a court official position established by the feudal dynasty in Han Dynasty to manage music. Yuefu originated in the Qin Dynasty, and the name Yuefu was adopted in the Han Dynasty. It is an institution established by the court to manage music since the Qin Dynasty. During the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, it expanded on a large scale, collecting and sorting out local folk music, arranging and composing music, singing and playing, etc.

Later, Yuefu began to refer to an old-style poem. People call the poems collected and created by Yuefu as Yuefu poems, or Yuefu for short.

By the Tang Dynasty, although the scores of these poems had long been lost, this form followed, becoming a poetic genre with no strict meter and close to five or seven words. (It's Yuan Juyi's new topic and new thing Yuefu, so you can't sing it. )

Mulan Poetry is a Yuefu poem that can be sung. It is a northern folk song in the southern and northern dynasties of China. Selected from Yuefu Poetry edited by Guo Maoqian in Song Dynasty. In the history of China literature, it is called "Yuefu Shuang Bao" together with Peacock Flying Southeast in the Southern Dynasties.
