The dance "Ailian Shuo" is an excellent work by Shao Junting, an outstanding dancer of the Youth Dance Troupe of Beijing Dance Academy. This work not only embodies the content of the poem, but also interprets China's classical dance in a new way, comparing the lotus flower to a noble and elegant female image rich in the beauty of China tradition, showing the lonely and high quality of not being stained with mud, and not being firm and simple as a demon.
First, the analysis of Ailian's plays.
Zhao Xiaogang and Shao Junting, a young dancer from Beijing Dance Academy, jointly created this work Love Lotus. And in the eighth national "Li Tao" dance competition, he won the A-level gold medal in classical dance and the first prize in the fourth CCTV competition.
The dance creation of "Ailian Shuo" was inspired by Zhou Dunyi, a writer in the Northern Song Dynasty. According to the description of the shape and temperament of the lotus in the poem, the poetic and anthropomorphic lotus image is expressed in a unique freehand brushwork style. Emphasizing the gentleman's moral character of lotus shows the noble and quaint beauty of oriental beauty. The rich poetic and symbolic narrative techniques make the dance of Ailian Shuo reach a higher aesthetic level [1]. Lotus is depicted as a female image with traditional aesthetic feeling in China, and dancers attract the audience to another artistic conception with their graceful feeling and dynamic beauty of "if you come down, if you go"; It shows the dignified and elegant beauty of oriental women and the delicate and independent gentleman character of Lotus.
The dance "Love Lotus" combines the aesthetic principles of China classical dance with the traditional culture of China, and inherits and develops the traditional culture of China in the form of dance, so that everyone can feel not only the spiritual value of the dance, but also the visual beauty.
Second, the performance form of "Ailian said" dance
Classical dance is one of the most important dance types in China. The aesthetic characteristics of "form, motion and emotion" are manifested in the theme and form, action skills, physical charm and so on. Then, through the dancers' specific body expressions and objective props, the thoughts and emotions to be expressed are conveyed to the public through the senses such as vision and hearing, so that the public can enjoy excellent works with aesthetic value and style charm [2].
The choreography of the dance "Love Lotus" is not simply to externalize the poem into action, but to personify and symbolize the image of Lotus through the description of its appearance and temperament. In the expression of classical dance, the poem "Out of mud but not stained, clear lotus without demon" gives a new interpretation to the praise of lotus. Dancers show us the dignified and elegant beauty of oriental women, as well as their understanding personality, honesty, solemnity and independence, just like a lotus that doesn't go with the flow. The dance "Ailian Shuo" contains a strong poetic meaning, using freehand brushwork and symbolic techniques to make the dance works reach a higher level of aesthetic exploration. Kneeling on the ground, and then a small bound action wrapped around his chest, his hind legs slightly tilted, and his upper body tilted backwards, forming a "lotus" shape, highlighting the theme. At this time, a lotus fairy appeared, rising slowly from the ground, with a jade hand half covering her face. It seems that people see a girl's shyness, then turn around and stand on one toe, which explains the growth process of lotus, and at the same time makes people imagine a growing girl named Ting. Dance is more exciting because of personification. The dancer showed the audience that a girl dancing in the lake was shy when facing the outside world for the first time, but she wanted to present her unique noble charm to the surrounding things, showing the special contradiction between body and mind. Many performances show the distortion of her head and limbs, and some small toe twisting movements also show this inherent contradiction. After the struggle, the smooth movements made us feel the unique charm of China classical women. Her elegant posture presents a rare beauty of holiness. In the continuous and steady pipa sound, she is either shy in the green leaves, or looking forward to blooming, or elegant and noble, quietly blooming her dust-free natural beauty, completely stretching her unique elegant temperament; When the soft and melodious music becomes passionate, the dancer's movements become vivid and natural, and the rhythm is light and free. Sometimes drunk between heaven and earth, sometimes dancing with the wind, sometimes free, sometimes shy. At this moment, she is completely integrated with the stage, and in the selfless performance, it is like a lotus dancing in the lake. At the end of the dance, there is a shape that echoes the opening. With the sound of two crisp wooden fish, she shook the dew and stood in the middle of the water. She is a gentleman among flowers. Even if it has flourished for thousands of years, it cannot be submerged. After the storm, the blue waves in the lake were calm-an unusual indifference [3].
In this dance drama "Love Lotus", the essence of China classical dance "circle" is emphasized, that is to say, it is reflected by the movements of round hands and cloud hands, which follow the regular characteristics of circular motion arc, which is also consistent with the image of lotus. Artistic implication is a beautiful dance way, which is expressed in a vivid and moving artistic way and is the profound connotation of philosophy or ideological life. Usually, its artistic significance is not entirely the theme reflected by the dance image. This is a more metaphysical thing than thought. It is a kind of philosophy and emotion beyond words and images, which may be meaningful but can't be described. This is also the source of the immortal aesthetic charm of excellent dance art [4].
Third, the music application of "Ailian Shuo" dance
The music tracks used in Love Lotus are Shen Yu Xi Shi Huan Sha and Yan Zhao Jun in Guo Se Tian Xiang. The music of this work praises the noble quality of lotus and the characteristics of harmony without flowing. On the surface, the lyrics describe the nature of lotus, but in essence, they describe the character of human nature. The music design of the dance Ailian Shuo consists of two parts, mainly two dance segments. There is an introduction before the beginning, and then slowly to the end. The basic structure is: introduction or prelude → adagio → gradual development → allegro climax → ending [5].
From the choice of music, the work is divided into four parts: A-B-C-D. The first dance is the first "sinking fish", which combines the guzheng and the harp to create a flowing gurgling sound, which reminds people of the posture of lotus flowers in bud in the water. At this point, the dancer's movements gradually get better with the rhythm. As the body slowly swings, the lotus gradually wakes up and begins to bloom. The concept of music art is advanced, the music structure is rigorous and the composition is very compact. With the gradual change of music and the orderly development of the plot, the artistic conception of performance also changes. From here on, the second paragraph uses "Wild Goose" as the background music. So the pipa and erhu crossed each other and began to surface like lotus flowers, as if a lotus fairy appeared in front of people. With the change of the dancer's movement range, the holiness and beauty of the lotus flower are vividly displayed in the beautiful clank pipa sound. The third piece of music began to get more and more intense, and the collision between the rising tone and the musical instrument pushed the dance to a climax. At this time, the dancer's action range became wider, indicating that the lotus has withstood the baptism of wind and rain and tenacious resistance. In the fourth paragraph, with the ringing of the bell that struck Muyu, she showed the noble character of "everyone is turbid and I wake up alone, and everyone is drunk and I wake up alone". She scattered dew on her body and stood alone in the middle of the lake, spotless, like a gentleman among flowers. As the music drew to a close, she gradually returned to the lake and recovered her original calm and elegance.
Music and dance are indispensable. Appropriate music can make dance more stereoscopic, stimulate the emotional ability of dancers and enrich the emotion and connotation of dance. Dance music can not only express the length, speed and rhythm of dance, but also give dance emotional thinking. This organic connection between dance and music can create a perfect dancer design. Music plays a key role in any dance. It can vividly express the theme and connotation of dance. What kind of content or emotion does dance want to express, it should choose the music that matches it. Zhao Xiaogang's choreography first chose excellent dance music-songs with national colors, and then was influenced and promoted by music. On the basis of music, an excellent dance was arranged.
Four. Concluding remarks
The editor-in-chief of "On Love Lotus" fully personifies the image characteristics of lotus itself without modification through the understanding of its spiritual character of "emerging from mud but not stained, lingering and not enchanting" and combining with the aesthetic characteristics of China classical dance. Shape dancers into noble and self-loving lotus images. Through the unique body rhythm and rhythm characteristics of classical dance, the whole set of movements is complete and smooth. The action line is basically round, even if the performance of skills is smooth and gentle, it will not leave a rigid impression. In dance, every detail of arms, head, waist, crotch and legs is treated with "circles". This art form of combining rigidity with softness shows the lightness, elegance, softness, comfort and charm of the dancer, and makes people immersed in the creative performance of the dancer.
The dance of "Ailian Shuo" gives people a feeling of beauty, not only because the dancer left a deep impression on the audience with her posture, skills and movements, but also because the image of the lotus is pure, and this noble quality infects everyone who appreciates it. It is precisely because of this beautiful image that dancers show the elements of classical dance to the audience. The works show people's spirit and personality through lotus flowers, as well as this quality and dignity, which is admirable, reverent and yearning. So this work is worthy of appreciation and praise.
In practice, colleges and universities should fully understand the importance of China classical dance and take effective measures to continuously improve the level of China classical dance while persisting in innovative exploration and seeking new ways. In order to meet the growing demand for classical culture in China, colleges and universities should continue to promote the reform and sustainable development of China classical dance in modern society. Through the combination of basic courses and body rhythm courses, students can release different parts of the body and help complete the complex movements of China classical dance. At the same time, the gradual development of students' skills can increase the range of movements, make dance movements lighter and smoother, increase the aesthetic feeling of dance movements, and greatly improve students' ability to express China classical dance.
