I am the principal of Gaozhuang Primary School in Ciqiu Town, Wenshang County. Here, I only introduce the practice of reading classics in our school. Please correct me if there are any mistakes. Chinese classics are like a huge treasure. From the classics, what we experience is not only a kind of culture, but also a kind of feeling and a kind of understanding of life and society, among which the classic chapters enrich my cultural heritage. The different schools of Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and a hundred schools of thought have inspired me to think from many angles. I recited The Analects of Confucius, The Book of Songs, Laozi, Song Zhengqi, A Moonlit Night on a Spring River and My Humble Room. I explored the great wisdom of education in the "Four Books", talked with kind Confucius and Mencius and wise Laozi and Zhuangzi, and realized the philosophy of life. China's classical culture has opened a door for me, which is a cultural door as well as a moral door. It is our bounden duty to lead my students into this door, to understand the profound wisdom of our ancestors, to understand the philosophy of self-cultivation and to explore the ingenious strategies for rejuvenating the country and ensuring the country.
The formative education of primary school students is particularly important. The profound China culture contains splendid educational essence, such as Three Amethyst, Disciples' Rules, Qian Wen Zi, Tao Te Ching and The Analects of Confucius. These contents have a positive guiding role and educational significance for people's behavior and habits. In childhood, when human nature is not doped with social thoughts and memory is the strongest, let children recite some classic essence in moderation. In fact, reading classics is not only a simple memory, but also a patriotic practical action to inherit and carry forward the traditional culture of the motherland, which promotes the improvement of students' ideological quality, aesthetic level and cultural accomplishment. Therefore, our school closely combines these Chinese classics with civilized etiquette education and cultivation education, and forms the educational characteristics of students' behavior habit cultivation based on Chinese classics and typical examples around them.
1. Starting from optimizing the environment, make the life of teachers and students full of saint culture. The environment has a subtle influence on students. A good atmosphere can stimulate students' interest in reading and improve their cognitive ability. To this end, we hang all kinds of illustrated classic sentences, proverbs and poems inside and outside the school classroom, corridors and stairs; Make huge plaques of classic cultural situations, etc. Impress students and encourage them to form good habits in a rich educational atmosphere. Make full use of campus radio to preach classics. This semester, it has been broadcast on campus radio to the second chapter of The Analects of Confucius-the second chapter of governing.
2. Call on all teachers to be teachers with books. Teachers are required to read four kinds of books well: reading classics to increase cultural details; Read theoretical monographs and strengthen teaching practice; Read children's literature and experience childlike innocence; Read newspapers and magazines to learn about customs around the world. We also put forward management requirements for characteristic school-based courses such as Chinese and mathematics, and put them into teaching management. Promote curriculum reform with characteristic education, consolidate characteristic education with curriculum support, and realize the organic integration of "school-based characteristic curriculum and discipline combination normalization"
3. Starting from leading students, let classics become their lifelong companions. Teachers are required to encourage students to read classics consciously after class every day, stimulate students' interest in learning classics, guide students to reflect on their words and deeds that violate the essence of classics, and form good habits. Continue to carry out the reading mode of "reading in the morning, writing in the afternoon, singing at dusk and saving at night".
4. We use the flag-raising ceremony every Monday to start the process of telling a story one line a week. Young Pioneers' counselors will lead students to learn and tell stories about China sages, patriotism and fables around this week's behavior, combined with classic famous sentences, so that students can understand them in reading. Sowing behavior, harvesting is habit. The organization and personal participation of the activities made students gradually understand the truth of "family, self-cultivation, governing the country and leveling the world", and also made them love teachers, classmates, parents, elders, classes, schools, hometown and motherland.
5. Combine with competition activities. On the basis of activities such as "writing a composition, giving a speech and telling a story", the "Star of Reading Classics, Star of Honesty, Star of Cooperation and Star of Etiquette" were selected. At the same time, each semester also holds classic reading exhibition activities, such as ancient poetry, calligraphy, individual reading, group reading, theme class meeting and blackboard newspaper design.
What we admire and publicize is the essence of Millennium accumulation, which embodies the light of wisdom. Strolling through the thoughts of the ancients in the early morning light, you will find a unique insight here: the way of governing the country and the wisdom, which makes you realize the meaning of life with a overlooking attitude.
