teaching process
First, look at the author, understand the background and common sense.
1, reading novels.
Novels were not taken seriously at the beginning of germination. Those literati all wrote poems and lyrics, and regarded novelists as the last stream. Hanshu? "On the Philosophers of Literature and Art" said: "Novelists are out of office. Gossip and hearsay are also made. Confucius said,' Although there is a path, there must be considerable people, and the distance is afraid of mud.' And a gentleman. However, it is also ruined, and it is also a little knowledge, so as not to be forgotten. If one sentence is acceptable, it is also a madman's discussion. "Visible novel status at that time. Even so, it continues to grow and improve with tenacious vitality. Strange stories in the Six Dynasties, legends in the Tang Dynasty, story-telling plays in the Song Dynasty and stories in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties are all its development and evolution, and classical novels reached their peak in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In the past, most of them were short stories in classical Chinese, but in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, long stories developed rapidly. China's classical novels are all chapter by chapter, and the main contents of this chapter are roughly explained in the review before each story.
2. Interpret the author.
There are many opinions about the author, some say Luo Guanzhong, some say history, and some say Shi Zuoluo. Among them, Jin Shengtan in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties held the last view, so he cut the water margin. But now most people think they are still acting. We know very little about history.
Shi Naian (1296- 1370), formerly known as Er, was born in Xinghua, Pingjiang (Suzhou). 19 is a scholar, 29 is a juren, and 35 is a scholar. He worked as an official in Qiantang area for several years and spent the rest of his life teaching. The novelist Luo Guanzhong is his favorite pupil. During his teaching, he wrote a famous novel "Water Margin" based on folklore and local operas.
3. Interpret the Water Margin.
Water Margin, also known as Water Margin and Loyalty Water Margin, is one of China's four classic novels. Written at the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty, it is the first excellent novel with the theme of peasant uprising in the history of China literature. It artistically summarizes the process of peasant uprising, development and failure.
Based on the legacy of Xuanhe, folk stories and scripts, this Zhang Hui novel was re-created by Shi Naian in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasties.
Historical background: At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, the feudal rulers were at a loss, foreign invasion, and years of natural disasters made the people in dire straits. The book says, "The sun is like fire, and Tian He wild rice is half burnt. The farmer's heart is like soup, and the son Wang Sun shakes it! " (See Chapter 16 of Water Margin) So peasant uprisings, large and small, broke out one after another.
Theme: The Water Margin vividly describes the whole process of the birth, development and failure of a huge peasant uprising army headed by Song Jiang. It profoundly reveals the social roots of "officials forcing the people to rebel" and the historical reasons why the uprising eventually evolved into a tragedy; It exposed the dark rule of the feudal landlord class and praised the revolutionary struggle of the peasant class.
