How does the poem "No Smoking in Zhong Ling" express the author's thoughts and feelings?

Jong Li, a poet in the Southern Tang Dynasty in the Five Dynasties, claimed to be a poet demon and was obsessed with poetry. However, the poet was politically frustrated all his life. Years of war have separated his friends, his relatives and his life. At this time, it was written by the author when he was in Zhong Ling.

The word "no smoking" in the title means the ancient Cold Food Festival. On this day, every household is forbidden to set off fireworks and carry out activities such as ancestor worship and outing. It was on this day that the author went out for an outing without company, and his loneliness and homesickness suddenly appeared.

The first sentence "Liu Xufei West Flowers", catkins and flowers are images alluding to parting and missing. The sight of the sun setting in the west immediately reminds people of the scene of "thin horses in the west wind on the ancient road", and loneliness and sadness arise spontaneously. Then, the sentence of "walking without a companion" is even more straightforward, directly pointing out the loneliness and desolation of walking without a companion, naturally turning to missing your loved ones, and setting off your loneliness and sadness with lush grass.

The next sentence "I can't be friends with my relatives and friends" means that my letters to my relatives and friends are as heavy as a stone and I can't get an answer, and my heart is bitter, "I can't bear to listen to the cuckoo crow at dusk", in which the cuckoo is the image of missing my relatives.

Du Fu, also known as Zi Gui, was regarded as a symbol of homesickness by scholars in previous dynasties because his cry was very similar to "It is better to go home". The last sentence uses irony in poetry appreciation. The author said "forbearing to listen" because of his strong homesickness, and he couldn't bear to hear the cuckoo's cry, which also set off the author's strong homesickness.
