What is the writing background of the poem Qingming?

Du Mu, a poet in the late Tang Dynasty, is an upright, enthusiastic, uninhibited scholar who dares to list great events and can point out the advantages and disadvantages of Chen. In the early years, he was somewhat incompetent. Later, when he met with the appreciation of Prime Minister Li Deyu, he was appointed to assassinate Huang, Chi, Mu and Hu in turn, and each term was not long. He lived for nearly 50 years (803-852) and soon died prematurely. Let's start with his poem Qingming. The Qingming Festival by Du Mu and the Qingming Festival by the North Society in the late Tang Dynasty are obviously the early works of Du Mu before his assassination. The Anshi Rebellion in the Tang Dynasty seriously damaged the northern economy. There is a bleak scene of "Senecio" and "empty room". (See "Outline of China History" by Jane Bozan) Until the late Tang Dynasty, it could not be restored for a long time. In Du Mu's poem Qingming, "pedestrians on the road want to die" is not because of the rainy weather, but reflects the barren phenomenon of lack of people in the northern countryside.
