1. China was divided into Kyushu in ancient times. Opinions vary. The authors of the book are Ji, Zhou, Qing, Xu, Yang, Jing, Yu, Liang and Yong. Second, Yadish has a secluded state, and there is no green and bright state; Xiaguan Luofang has a secluded place and a realm without peace. Later "Kyushu" refers to the whole world and China. "Songs of Chu Li Sao": "Thinking about the breadth of Kyushu, is it only a woman?" Song Luyou's poem "Shizi": "When you die, you know everything is empty, but you see Kyushu's sorrow." One of Qing Gong Zizhen's Jihai Miscellaneous Poems (25): "Kyushu's anger depends on the wind and thunder, and thousands of horses learn sadness." Guo Moruo's poem "Praise Lei Feng": "Twenty-two years will last forever, and Kyushu's surname is Yang Yinglie."
2. refers to Kyushu. China is just one of them. During the Warring States Period, Zou Yan called China Chixian Shenzhou, saying that "nine people outside are like Chixian Shenzhou, which is called Kyushu". See Historical Records and Biographies of Mencius and Xun Qing. "Huainanzi Terrain Training": "What is Kyushu? Shenzhen in the southeast calls for agricultural soil, Zhengnan calls for fertile soil, Yeongju in the southwest calls for deep soil, Zhengxi calls for mixed soil, Jizhou in the right calls for middle soil, Taizhou in the northwest calls for fertile soil, Zhengbei calls for hidden soil, and Dongzhou calls for soil application. " Yang Shuda thinks that Kyushu mentioned here is the same name as Jizhou of Yugong, but other names are different. It is called Southeast China, which is consistent with Zou Yan's statement that China is called Chixian China. I suspect that this article is taken from Zou Yan's book, and the name of Kyushu mentioned by Zou Yan is Kyushu. See "Ji Weiju Primary School Zou Yan Kyushu Examination".
Liu Xiang of the Han Dynasty said in "Talking about Frontier Warfare": "There are four seas within the Eight Wastes, and Kyushu within the four seas." According to Yan Shigu, an exegetist in the Tang Dynasty, "Eight Barrens are barren on all sides." So, what about the four seas? Er Ya's younger brother said, "Nineteen One, Buddy, Seven Honors and Six Mans are all over the world." Others think that "Four Seas" is the sea around "Kyushu". The Book of Rites specifically mentions that the East China Sea, the West Sea, the South China Sea and the North Sea are four seas, but there are no clear sea areas. In Song Dynasty, Hong Mai said that "the four seas are one" in Rong Zhai's essays and thought that "the four seas are one".
There are also many sayings about the "Five Lakes". The Water Notes of Shuijing Town holds that "the five lakes are Changdang Lake, Taihu Lake, Songhu Lake, Gui Hu Lake and Gehu Lake". In the Tang Dynasty, Sima Zhen considered "Juqu (Taihu Lake), Gu Tao, Peng Li, Cao Qing and Dongting Lake" as "Five Lakes". But modern people call Dongting Lake, Poyang Lake, Chaohu Lake, Hongze Lake and Taihu Lake the Five Lakes.
