How to create a good environment for minors to grow up healthily

The protection of minors is a social system project. In recent years, our city has made the protection of minors a key task. In order to promote the healthy growth of minors, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of minors, and prevent minors from committing crimes, we adhere to the main line of educating people, improve the comprehensive quality of minors, and create a healthy, civilized, and upward environment for the healthy growth of minors. In order to provide a good environment, relevant departments of our city, people from all walks of life and the general public have done a lot of work to provide more and better learning and living platforms for the young generation, so that most children can thrive under the care of the party, the people and their parents. growing up. Some children learn good skills at a young age and are versatile. They can dance, sing, and are proficient in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting. They will definitely be the pillars of the country and society in the future. There are countless successful examples like this. However, in the face of achievements, do we also see shortcomings? In recent years, juvenile crime cases have occurred from time to time, and are on the rise, tending to become younger. According to the investigation, some teenagers have violated criminal laws as early as 13 or 14 years old, and teenagers aged 14 to 17 commit the most crimes. Almost every day, newspapers, magazines, and news are full of bad news about sad and regrettable incidents: a junior high school student named Huang stabbed someone with a knife on campus, a group of elementary school students participated in housebreaking and robbery, and a student named Li couldn't be stabbed because of love. Injuring female classmates... And many of the perpetrators are minors. The reason why they embark on the road of crime is mostly due to the influence of the surrounding environment. In today's diversified society, various bad habits slowly penetrate into the minds of minors. They cannot resist the temptation, have weak willpower and poor identification ability, and naturally go astray. Juvenile crime is a social problem faced by all countries in the world today. Young people are the future and hope of the motherland and are related to the future development prospects of the country and society. If they are not properly educated, they will affect the future of the motherland and society. How to reverse this bad situation and enable minors to grow up healthily? I think the first task is to integrate society, family and school, increase efforts, and find ways to create a good environment for the healthy growth of minors. Because a good environment can change a person's life. Enable people to establish a correct outlook on life, values, and concepts of honor and disgrace, and develop good ideas of abiding by laws, fairness, justice, integrity, and friendliness. So, how to create a good environment for the healthy growth of minors? Let me briefly talk about some of my own opinions:

1. Continue to build a cultural environment on campus.

(1) Strengthen the layout of the campus cultural wall environment.

Distinguished calligraphy exhibitions, ancient poems, celebrity stories, excellent essays, handwritten newspapers, advanced deeds and individuals are arranged in corridors, walls, bulletin boards and other places on campus, and are changed regularly. Let students visit and study and provide students with a good learning atmosphere. Let them understand our country's extensive and profound excellent culture, draw rich nutrition from it, enrich themselves, and understand the important responsibilities they will shoulder in the future, thereby stimulating fighting spirit.

(2) Cultivate children’s good behavior habits.

Educate students to pay attention to small details on campus, strictly prohibit littering, and be law-abiding, disciplined and polite, honest, studious, united and motivated children. From an early age, we must learn to be thrifty, not greedy for pleasure, be able to endure hardships and stand hard work, know how to be grateful, respect our elders, respect teachers, understand the hardships of our parents, do our best to learn well, and lay a solid foundation for the future. We must establish correct and lofty ideals from an early age and strive for them.

(3) Actively carry out second classroom activities to provide students with a platform to develop their personal strengths.

Carry out various themed activity classes, such as "Calligraphy Competition", "Storytelling", "Environment or Safety Handwritten Newsletters", "Poetry Singing" and other activities to enrich students' interests in extracurricular activities and make them Students increase their knowledge, give full play to their strengths, take advantage of others' strengths, and make up for their own shortcomings, and they will achieve results if they act subconsciously.

(4) Add legal courses and regularly display picture cases to deepen students’ understanding of legal knowledge.

Because it is not enough for students to simply listen to the teacher teach a few ethics lessons in class. Although some ethics and safety knowledge are introduced every day in the lectures, it is limited after all. To be honest, How many students have a deeper understanding of legal knowledge? Although the education department now proposes that moral education should be the first priority, the quality of teaching is so tight nowadays that teachers cannot squeeze in time to explain more legal knowledge to students. They are beyond their capabilities! If we had tried to create courses in schools and let professionals teach, I think the students would have gained a lot, and there would have been clear boundaries in their thoughts, words and deeds. Once thoughts guide actions, then the law of opportunity for crime will be greatly reduced. I believe that this is also the result that parents and teachers expect. In addition, it is best to regularly display legal knowledge and picture cases. We even carry out some legal knowledge quizzes and games with prizes, so that children can improve while having fun, so that they don’t have to be limited to studying the main subjects and avoid being tired of learning.

(5) Regularly hold parent exchange meetings at school to exchange student information in a timely manner.

If students have bad words and deeds at home, parents can contact the school in time during the parent exchange meeting day to coordinate countermeasures for education.

Because there are more only children nowadays, children have become the apple of their parents' eyes, and they cannot be beaten or scolded; they lose their temper and become emotional if they go against their will. Parents are not very patient. They are accustomed to being accommodating at home, but it is difficult to change at school. Some parents do not promptly report their children's bad words and deeds, worrying about this and that. As a result, their children become more and more unruly, and the loving mother often loses her son: They disobey their parents, go their own way, run away from home, disrespect teachers, start gang fights, skip school, steal and other bad things, and even do illegal things.
