National training is to inspire, awaken and ignite.
In August 2000, I became a teacher with a longing for education. The first few years were indeed full of passion, but later, I don’t know when, the repetitive work day after day, year after year, and the trivial things made me feel tired and tired. I vaguely remember that such days have passed for a long time.
It wasn’t until the fall semester of 2017 that I first met Guopei. "National training" was still a new term at that time. I still remember clearly that the national training course that year lasted for eight days and was divided into four phases. There was no rest for four consecutive weekends. Especially in the last two phases, the weather was freezing. The training location of our Chinese language group - Ye There was no heating facility in the biochemistry laboratory of Yu Middle School. I put on my thickest cotton-padded jacket, which had several layers inside and outside. My hands and feet were numb from the cold, but I never complained because I was listening to the expert attentively. Lectures, constantly recording new educational and teaching concepts, new ideas, and some real and vivid cases in this lecture will always win bursts of applause or bursts of laughter. What I remember most is a demonstration class "The Last Lesson" by Teacher Zeng Jing. Teacher Zeng was gentle and persuasive. He started from reading the topic, then read Little Franz, then read Mr. Hamel, and finally guided the students to read the topic. The text content is adapted into a short poem. The whole class was filled with the sound of reading aloud. At that time, everyone was immersed in this classroom atmosphere. Not only the eyes of the children were shining, but also the eyes of every participating teacher present. . I was very surprised that the Chinese class could be so interesting, it was so Chinese-flavored! At that time, I thought that my future Chinese classes should be like this, so that every student's eyes should be bright. That day there were snowflakes outside the window and the wind was biting, but my heart was burning.
I am very fortunate that during this national training program, I met a noble person in my life. She was the person who led me to grow when I was in trouble in teaching, unable to break through the bottleneck period, and was most helpless. ——Teacher Ding Yali. In the third period of learning activities, trainees were required to choose four teachers, each of whom would take a mini-class. I was the first to sign up and was scheduled to attend the first period in the afternoon of the next day. At that time, I really wanted to take that class well. I wanted to apply all the new ideas and new methods I had learned in the previous two periods to this class. I read through the textbooks, teachers' books, and read other people's teachings online. Design, I stayed up until past 12 o'clock at night. It can be said that I put a lot of thought into choosing the class "Peach Blossom Spring", writing the teaching design, and making PPT. The next morning, two teachers showed their mini-classes, and Teacher Ding both made wonderful comments on them. From her patient and meticulous comments and guidance, I realized that my class had too many problems: the mini class lasted 15 to 20 minutes, but my class had too much content and could not be taken in 20 minutes; choose a point , design your own teaching, let students learn thoroughly, and my class teaching objectives are too many, including the understanding of content words and function words in classical Chinese, sentence translation, text content analysis, and exploration of the main purpose of the article. I immediately decided not to eat during the lunch break and go home to change. After I gave my presentation in the afternoon, Teacher Ding commented, "You are a very thoughtful, malleable, and very potential teacher. You must continue to work hard on the road to professional growth as a teacher." It was such an inspiring statement. , made my blood boil and aroused my fighting spirit.
Be the kind of person you want to be, and be with the kind of person you want to be. That time, I took the initiative to add Teacher Ding’s WeChat account. When I was teaching, I would ask her for help when I encountered a puzzle that I couldn't solve myself. Every time, she would take the trouble to give me guidance. Later, I became a member of her studio. Under her leadership and guidance, I became an expert in Chinese language teaching in junior high schools in Xianyang City, fulfilling my original dream of joining the ranks of teachers. These are all given to me by the national training program. Who would have thought that just one participation in the national training program would transform me!
In recent years, I have also participated in several national training courses. The farthest I have been to Taizhou, Jiangsu, to Yangsi Middle School. Recently, I have been to Xi'an, Xianyang, and Xi'an Aerospace Middle School. I have experienced I have learned about the different concepts and methods of education in different regions, and also felt the gap between our western education and southern education. I listened to many lectures by expert teachers, such as Nanjing’s teacher Ding Weijun’s simple Chinese, teacher Wang Jun’s youth Chinese, etc.; I also listened to some observation classes by expert teachers, including teacher Wang Jie’s unfamiliar reading "Train to the Distance", Teacher Xiao Peidong's "Climbing Mont Blanc", "Doubt and Knowledge", etc., I also participated in several heterogeneous or demonstration class demonstrations in the same class, and grew up with the participating teachers. After each national training course, I would report what I had learned to the teachers at the school, so that they could learn and grow with me. I think this is the power of national training. It radiates and drives batches of teachers to continue to progress and grow, and finally it is implemented in our students and bears fruit!
On June 13 this year, I participated in the capacity improvement training for municipal subject leaders under the National Training Program and went to Baoji, known as the "Hometown of Bronze". This training was hosted by Baoji University of Arts and Sciences and lasted for 15 days. It consisted of expert lectures and campus observation. As we all know, the "Compulsory Education Curriculum Standards (2022 Edition)" was released in April this year, which proposed four aspects of core competencies, Chinese education task groups, etc. Like many teachers, I have a lot of confusion.
This training was a timely gift. Several lectures on the interpretation of the new curriculum standards by expert teachers were arranged, such as "Interpretation of the Compulsory Education (New) Curriculum Standards" by Teacher Cao Gongqi, and "Reading the Curriculum Standards from a Teacher's Perspective
During this period, we went to Baoji High-tech No. 1 Middle School and Jinling Middle School. In these two schools, whether it is the teaching and research of teachers or the learning atmosphere of students, the educational enthusiasm of Baoji Chinese people is very strong. Among them, the practical course "Reading Yongzhou·Humanistic Baoji" advocated and developed by the Chinese language group of Jinling Middle School is refreshing. This school-based course is based on traditional Chinese culture and traces back to the local culture. They lead students to start by understanding a bronze collection and experience China. The brilliance of culture; starting from getting to know an ancient sage, exploring the mysteries of ritual and music culture; starting from exploring a relic, using words to record the depth of Chinese culture. Their curriculum development fully achieves the careful selection of various materials, guiding students' interests, achieving the curriculum goals in a step-by-step and planned manner, and using facts to show us the real vitality of the Chinese classroom. This course has also inspired me a lot. In fact, we in Chunhua also have a lot of local culture that can be explored. For example, the Yetai Mountain Revolutionary Memorial Hall, the origin and development of Chunhua Food Network, etc. can be used as school-based courses to allow students to better understand themselves. My hometown, I love my hometown. I think that based on traditional Chinese culture, digging out more and better resources from local culture to serve classrooms and Derun students is one of the directions for my future efforts.
When it comes to Guopei, there are really too many things to say and too many stories to tell. It can be said that it is precisely because of meeting and getting to know Guopei that I am the middle-aged person I am today. But I still have a young and passionate heart, and I want to keep learning and growing, so I am grateful to Guobei. It was Guopei that allowed me to meet a better version of myself. In the future, my growth story with Guopei will continue to unfold.
